+x+xSydney United 2 Marconi 0 APIA 1 Blacktown 1 . APIA win on penalties. Marconi V APIA Wollongong V Sydney United coming up this weekend. Took my boys out to Edensor Park on the Saturday, great crowd & atmosphere & after chatting with the guy behind the bar he let me & my boys have some sponsor food. :w00t::laugh: We were quite curious as to why the canteen was staffed by Indians. Wollongong vs APIA Blacktown vs United fixtures both this wednesday night. As for the indians, cheap labour lol.... in all serious they are the workers from Outback Steakhouse (our presidents franchise) Fucking hell, they changed it since this morning. I have evidence!!
Wednesday night due to FFA Cup commitments?

That table is incorrect, FNSW cant do anything right. It's wednesday night, because FNSW want the final at bankwest stadium on the 31st of August, so they are playing midweek matches to cater for this date. Utter Stupidity. If United win Wednesday night, that will be 4 matches in 2 weeks, whereas Wollongong APIA would of only had 1 or 2.

Just for those interested no matter where in PL. http://www.thecleansheet.com.au/npl-3-competition-update/Congrats Raiders to PL2 next season but Stanmore will end up being Minor Prems. I actually can't believe Hawks going down to PL4, normally a strong outfit but of all the bad timing having a ordinary season due to the new changes its over and out.

WOW, what a game last night. it was 3-2 in the first 20 minutes with 3 penalties awarded. We got the 3rd in the second half to send the game into extra time, and then we put another 4 past blacktown!! 7-3 final score. Onto Wollongong this saturday, this would be our 3rd game in a week.

Was pretty amazing that a score like that happens especially after extra time. So who plays who now?

Yeah unfortunate regarding the 5 clubs dropping down, especially Camden and Dully who are close to the drop at the same time fighting for a finals spot.

APIA is in the Grand Final Sydney United vs Wollongong, winner plays APIA I should’ve watched this stream instead of the FFA cup, I tuned in for the extra time but didn’t expect to see 4 goals 😂. 19-SU-58, 3rd game in a week with 2 of them going 120 minutes. Will be hard to manage for any coach not taking into account the FFA cup game the following week.

Never have Finals football been during the week, it was always weekend, with finals mid september. they also didnt take into consideration the FFA CUP, now the teams who were successful with the FFA CUP will be punished for it at the same time. Not even EPL clubs play 5 games in 2 weeks. FFS,

yer typical FNSW, bloody ridiculous. SU hope you guys can make it but Wolves are in the box seat as we all can see but SU sure are fighters ! 20's pretty much going by table finish. BC waiting on the 2 or 3, Sutho better defense but what the day will bring.

We have Dully @ Arlington - GRM can afford a loss in 1sts and good points for Dully IF they get the win but our 20's need the win to keep in the play offs so all to play for but any points Dully can get will help them greatly for Camden host Raiders, now Tigers have a good record at home but Raiders are good across the 3 grades obviously gaining promotion, 3 loss's will put Camden in the last relegation spot with 1 round left to play.

+xRockdale already splashing the money for next year it seems. coming from a sutho fan? ND already getting desperate for players, offering ridiculous amounts and yet players dont wanna play for him. dont blame them. but eventually a few will take it. the joys of the post CC era, clubs going all out in first grade.

I think we will be resting a lot of players against WSW, the club wants the premiership. I guess WSW can be a cash grab, to pay off all the fines lol

As well as all the hosting costs. big stadiums are great for capacity, but on the down side, hire fees are high and stadiums usually hold catering rights etc. for me, id like to see FFA be more lenient towards state league clubs in terms of ground criteria so they can play at thier true home grounds. its what the cup is all about.

I got to say there is something about APIA SU games, seen quite a few over the years. Congrats after such a heavy schedule but seems its better to play more than not - ask the Wolves. Look forward to the Final..

Southern Branch used to be in YL up to U16's about 3yrs ago but it folded due to not being able getting enough players to make teams more so due to travel distance constraints making training etcetc. IMO I can't see it being any different today. When one of my boys was in YL and knowing a boy playing for them and their Father they told me some players were coming from as far as Bega etc and making to training was PIA that I could understand for any parent for one let alone playing Snrs the travelling for training and then games in Sydney as well as getting up to Bathurst Mariners is ridiculous let alone Newcastle Jets applying as well.
