Ive noticed this too. Sadly the epl still dazzles many young players. You have a lower chance of game time going there than say buli, la liga, ligue 1 or eredivisie but it is a weaker preperation for international football than perhaps any of them imo

The reason would be climatic, and remember England with an EPL squad and their Rio base camp played in the tropics.
Germany would have gone out in the group stages if they didn;t have that Northern camp.

I love being right... Don't know why all those Spurs, Chelshit, City players were chosen when they are average at best and only dribble. I'm sure Coutinho and Lucas Moura didn't mind having a longer holiday.

Oscar is a very good player but he is also a weakling , and doesn;t do anything in defence.
Balance would have come from picking Coutinhi who offers more in those areas.

As much as I rate Oscar he certainly didn't set many games alight when on the ball during this cup - Coutinho may have offered more but we'll never know.
