Qatar to beat England 3-0, with a bunch of the English players collapsing on the field do to heat exhaustion, sun burn, and dehydration. Beat North Korea 2-1, going down 1-0 and then in the dying 10 minutes, two wonder goals from Akram Afif after North Korea suspiciously have 3 players sent off for a mixture of simulation, a tackle which made the Qatari player fall over and roll around like he'd been shot in the stomach, and a hand ball offence which actually hit the North Korean player in the leg. Kim Jong-Un (or whatever nutcase replaces him) will declare war on Qatar (despite the North Korean news channel declaring a 5-0 victory, and of course, another World Cup tournament victory) .They will then have their game against Syria washed out (ironic in Qatar, eh) after Syria forfeit, not being able to field a team due to the Syrian regime (which is still holding on against the West, Syrian rebels, ISIS & Al-Queda) having made the whole national team join the Army just as the World Cup was starting.
The round of 16 will see Qatar comfortably see off Nigeria, whose whole squad were drafted in from the construction company who had built the stadium, largely thanks Nigeria being seriously affected by Ebola.
The Quarter finals will see them knock off Panama where Yairo Yau will score a hat-trick, but be red carded after lambasting the referee after all 3 goals were ruled offside, despite replays showing he was well and truly onside for all 3. Qatar will score a last grasp goal in the dying embers of Extra time, sending all 4 sheikhs, 3 goats, 2 camels, and a member of ISIS in the grandstands into hysterical celebration, including the firing of AK-47s into the air.
The Semi finals will see them play Malta where they will be outplayed. Malta will have over 20 shots in front of goal, inside the 18-yard box, with Michael Mifsud - at the ripe age of 41 - will send the majority of them over the cross bar, and air swing the rest.
The World Cup final will be played against New Zealand. Jeremy Brockie and Michael Mifsud to score for New Zealand, but a heroic comeback will force the game into a penalty shootout where New Zealand would somehow manage to miss every shot (they would later claim that the ground had literally 'shifted' under their feet, and Qatar would go on to record a famous World Cup victory.
