pretty sure megsy has been playing til recently overseas so he should be match fit too. might catch a glimpse of them at the maso cup this weekend.

Great signings. I doubt they would have cost much tbh. Its off season for the AL.

Yup, he's never played for Marconi. Played for Wollongong in the dying years of the NSL, before moving to Sydney United, and then Sutherland.

Before he played for WSW, he was at Perth Glory.

Regardless of visa spots, I think an A-league club could do a lot worse than signing Beauchamp as a 3rd choice CB.

He played for Sydney United in the dying days of the NSL, FFS. What relevance does that have to now?

When did he play for Sutho? As a junior? Again, what relevance does that have to him signing for a NPL2 side?

Had he signed for Olympic you'd be claiming it was the greatest signing of the off-season.

Do I rate him? Yes, for an NPL2 side I think he's absolutely fantastic. I think the same about Beauchamp. They'd both be great signings for any NPL1 side, let alone an NPL2 side.

most npl clubs are heavily loaded these days with young players. it isn't that bad a thought to have the odd experienced player in the mix from which the young guys can learn a thing or two.

Wasn't aware Adam Biddle was playing for them. Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time.

Megsy was one of the most hot and cold players I've ever seen pull on a Sydney jersey. He'd be good one week, bloody dreadful the next.

Mind you, he was playing for us when that was the whole team. :lol:
