pv4 wrote:Can someone give me a rundown on what it means for the EPL and Champions League if UK leave the EU please? Nothing in terms of eligibility to play in the Champions League. They would be free to restrict EU foreigners from playing if they wanted. But EPL has no restrictions anyway. So - nothing.

UEFA has many competing countries that are not part of the EU. Russia and Turkey are probably the 2 largest. This vote will have zero effect on football.

If leave over-perform in London and Scotland, it's over. They will romp home in the majority of England and Wales.

BBC latest Quote: The outcome is predicted to be close with Leave performing better than expected in the north of England and parts of Wales, while Remain is doing well in London.

They're actually going to do it the absolute madmen.

If UK manages to leave, I predict a number of countries follow suit - precipitating the downfall of the EU.
Amazing what one man can accomplish.

It was scary at first watching the support of the big cities come in alongside Scotland with over 70% remains. Looking at the map though looks like even that won't be enough. A lot of London looks to have come in as well.

Sad day if they go. Just a waste of money until they eventually rejoin a union in the future.
