Socceroo Aaron Mooy has continued his superb form by scoring his maiden goal for Huddersfield Town in style in a 1-0 win over Leeds United overnight.

Aaron Mooy is magic
He wears a magic hat
He could have stayed at City
But he said no fuck that.

He passes with his left foot
He passes with his right
And when we win the Championship
We'll sing his song all night!

Watched the game and it was a great goal but shouldn't have been on the pitch. That studs up 2 footer was a Kevin Muscat special.

Only a one-footer, but he did make up for it with the Carl Lewis leap to get there.

Nah mate, both those legs are swinging on through. If his opponent has his studs in the turf then he gets his legs broke, end of.

Loving watching the rise of Mooy but that sort of thing is not on. He's representing Australia in whatever shirt he wears. Maybe only my opinion, but we still have plenty of reputation in Europe for this sort of thing.

Nah mate.  Right Foot was the Studz-up career-ender.  Left leg was the scythe-through-anything-still-unbroken to follow up

What a load of nonsense i cant even think of the last time an australian player made a dangerous tackle. Far more common in places like Italy

His manager won't be keen on his star midfielder making many more tackles like that.

Not sure what Wagner said behind closed doors and hope he had a chat to Mooy about it. But in the presser when responding to questions about the incident he said something like...in Germany definitely a red card. In England a yellow.

Looked like he thought he'd given away a big goal chance and was doing whatever it took to stop it.

Straight red.  End of.

Good goal though.
