Are you sure, in terms of Nico Martinez? Or do you mean Melbourne City's current Argentinean loanee, Nicolas Colazo? Colazo is on-loan at Melbourne City from Boca Juniors. Nicolas Martinez is, as you correctly identified, on-loan from Olympiacos - but he's on-loan to the West Sydney Wanderers. I presume it's the WSW looking to buy out Nico Martinez's contract, not MC? Or are MC looking to steal a talent from their A-League rivals and there-fore the likely departure of Colazo to make way for him? :?

Don't see why MC or any other interested club wouldn't try and buy him. A handy player though midfield isn't exactly their problem position

Not sure why a Greek newspaper would report of Colazo

Comments also say there has already been an agreement reached (can't confirm, my Greek isn't fantastic)

Apparently he wanted to stay in Australia.
