Wigan sacked their coach yesterday so hopefully a new coach can spark them into action. Villa and Newcastle the next two weeks but if Blackburn and Wolves win tonight then I'd say we're officially done.

Thankfully Blackburn drew which still gives Wigan a sniff. Would need to atleast win one of our next two and draw the other.

This upcoming weekend has what looks to be Werder's toughest challenge of the run home - hosting 2nd place RB Leipzig! The last time these two faced each other in the league, RB Leipzig were runaway 3-1 winners.

Meanwhile, main relegation rivals Hamburger SV are away to 6th place Eintracht. When Hamburger hosted Eintracht in the league in October, they were spanked 3-0. Werder fans are hoping for another similar result this weekend!

Yay, 2 crucial away points against promotion chasers in 4 days pulling Rovers out of the Zone.

Stiff shits City !

Anyone want to follow Forest now ?

Best we both can hope for is a draw I reckon

Wolfsburg have got free points at home to bottom club Darmstadt, so could be a bad weekend

With a new president (who "wants to bring champions league to the club") as of this week which adds another twist.
The old president would have gone through 3 coaches in the next 11 weeks so we shall see...

Serie A nosebleed update

Palermo got dicked 3-0 on the weekend, although Empoli got dicked 4-0 so they've actually gained on Empoli...........

So, 7 points (and 5 goals) to catch up with 10 to go

A win for bigpoppas Wigan against Sokornys Villa  will tighten it all up on Saturday

A Villa win however will make the safe for sure

Volrath2002's Bristol City get the Friday night first chance to pull themselves out of the drop (at least temporarily)

Given Huddersfield form of late it would be a hard game for Bristol to get much out of I would think

Might have to change over to Birmingham if Villa win this weekend then (doubt Birmingham will get a win against Newcastle).

Be some relegation battles going on too ... QPR v Rotherham (who looked stuffed, sorry Gayfish). Burton v Brentford (home advantage could be enough for the Brewers ... Irvine to score again??), Wigan v Villa, Cardiff v Ipswich (both still in danger after being EPL sides but a few seasons ago).

A HUGE result for Werder, knocking off 2nd place RB Leipzig 3-0!

TYST your Hamburglers had a 0-0 snore draw with Eintracht which was a pretty respectable result.

Relegation contenders Wolfsburg had a 1-0 win, Augsburg had a 1-1 draw and Mainz 05 had a 0-1 loss.

Looking at the table the big killer for your Hamburglers could be GD. I'm feeling a sense of relief with that Werder result, phew!

Fixtures this weekend: Werder are away to 8th place SC Freiburg (who have just come off a 1-1 draw with relegation battlers Augsburg) & Hamburglers host 6th place FC Koln (who just came off a huge 4-2 win against 5th place Hertha BSC).

Well, Villa's win puts them well and truly safe ( And Wigan deeper in the Poo)
So Sokorny's allegiance is switched to the bluenoses to keep the silly-accent Derby alive for next season.

Bristol and Wolves (game in hand also) both with upset wins meant that Blackburns 3rd draw in a row didn't help, nor Forests.

Burton scored 3 , but let in 5, so it's on for them now

5 points cover 7 clubs with 8 to go

http://oi67.tinypic.com/29cqfl5.jpg

Any takers for Ipswich or Forest ?

Oh Yeah,

Gayfish, you're fucked

You need

1. all 24 points
2. one of four clubs to fail to get any more points
3. about +30 Goal difference improvement

Why don't you two both have the Hamburglars, but make an internal guessing bet on amount of points they will finish on. And the closest to the points wins.
