He has a mcgrath like accuracy and the ability to get some very late swing
I'd take him over bird or hazelwood. As good as those two bowlers are, Chad is even better

keep in mind he has managed a bowling average of 23 in adelaide. Best bowling average in the toughest conditions

Sadly he is 29 so even if we select him he doesn't have much time left. Much like o'keefe we may have missed another once in a generation quality player

He's suffered from lack of pace and being in SA. If he was playing for NSW he would have been picked by now.

Shield final should be interesting this year. Both bowling attacks are strong so it shouldn't be a boring draw.

Victoria pretty comfortable in the Shield final but Chad Sayers has 4/67...

imagine if we chose players on first class form chad sayers and sok would have 50 tests each by now


having said that shaun marsh now has an overseas average over 40 which is excellent. And super fast bowlers tend to do better in the sub continent regardless of their first class form.
So perhaps a horses for course approach does have some merit
