+xHaving said that we do now have an exciting squad and as was mentioned start with 2 away games and 3-5 game memberships only went on sale recently. I dare say they made up a good 65% of our last membership total. I believe historically we always had around 5.5k fully ticketed season members. Wait what??? The thought never even crossed my mind.

Which part? For the record I renewed pretty early but I did debate. Will have to move next season after many years because my seats have been suddenly designated platinum or whatever but that's a separate (though linked actually) story. I probably only go to more like 10/13 games a season these days but still buy a membership even if it probably works out to not being worth it in the end. I love knowing where my seats are and never having to worry.

I don't get why City announced 10k a while ago (6th Oct) and yet the official figures as per the FFA websites still list them as just under that mark. I get it's in their interests to 'round things up/get ahead of themselves a little' or... do City include 'Pet Memberships' and the like where the FFA don't? :unsure:

Others have pointed out before the differences between what the clubs announce and the FFA's website does.

Surprised there are so many given our pre-season was not much to talk about and this season is not going so well right now :laugh: Good on them.

+xBig surge from the W League memberships Mr. B That shouldn't really count then unless the membership entitles you into a-league games.

@Davo1985
They do, that’s why they count them.
It was a 5 game, double header pass for Suncorp - really good value which is why they got the surge, gets you into 5 W league games and 5 HAL.
Brisbane’s got a dedicated W League following which bought them plus anyone looking for a shorter pass than full season this was the way to go.

Mariners with an all time record of 6537 members.
We win again this week and we should smash through the 7000.

Agreed Mid. Although we might have to wait until next Monday for news, I think that’s when FIFA are meeting.

I can't get my head around that there are more members this year than previous years. The league is an absolute basket case this year. Most must have bought memberships before the start of the season.

Most must have bought memberships before the start of the season. Aswell as what TheSelect said, the devil is in the detail - Most fans view the league through the prism of their clubs and how the club is doing. The bigger picture that we on the forum worry about, most don't worry or care about.
