Amongst all the shit we have been watching and listening to lately, the Matilda's have been our one shining light .

Finally the public have gotten behind them which they fully deserve.

The thing I have noticed about women's football that the whole of Australia can get behind is there lack of play acting, it doesn't happen. The game flows on so well and this is the reason why I think we should try and get a women's World Cup here.

Would love to see them play England, Germany or any of the finalists from the recent Euros.

And exactly right regards the play acting and histrionics the blokes bung on.  There's virtually none of that in the women's game.

Would have to be AAMI. Big side like USA, England, Germany, I think you'd see similar numbers to the Newcastle and Penrith games, if not better.

Well said.

Great to see that State Government keen to invest in Matilda's matches.

Hopefully the FFA have realised the goodwill for the Matildas and will get as many of these as the schedule allows.
