It looks like he over stretched trying to reach the ball after a heavy touch and fell over. Harsh.

Cant tell by the video but he didn't appear to appeal or remonstate. Too often ive seen player legitimately fall over (not fouled) and given a card whilst those that dive get penalties or play on. Maybe if the ref is sure they werent fouled then they should only be carded if the appeal or remonstrate.
