Yeah, but it could have potentially been worse. Much worse. Pretty lucky that Thomas got out of it so lightly.
The punishment should be for the action not the result of the action; though having said that I have no idea how that sits within any official interpretations of the rules and any sanction guidelines.

Muscat only getting 8 weeks was a joke. If its only a headache (no big deal) then maybe 2 weeks is fair. 

He's got a history of violent conduct which will be taken into account.
