him mentioning pace is an interesting point. he was to bulky and slow for a winger at Victory. clearly he's trimmed down and has reaped the benefits. But I am glad he's made it. i always thought he had the talent.

IMO they rushed into the Arnie appointment. Also IMO Arnie shouldn't have got the job because he has no credible international coaching experience - but regardless, the FFA should've waited until after the WC to pull the trigger. What if BvM works absolute wonders with the group and then wants to stay on after the WC? Well he can't because we already have...Arnie.

If the ball is played and received at diagonal angles, there is less need to look over one's shoulder as far as receiving a straight ball. I assumed that most coaches would be emphasising this much earlier in one's career.

The same with turning quickly.
