"Cricket Australia has been branded "arrogant and controlling" by the independent review set up in the wake of Sandpapergate in South Africa last March." Nothing new there!

Sandpapergate was solely one very embarrassing player who thinks he can do whatever he likes on the field, throwing the most junior player under a bus possibly damaging a young player's career and then hiding behind his captain who coped irreparable damage to his integrity. The problem is that this individual has never been severely reprimanded by CA  regardless of the embarrassment he has caused, just prior to Sandpapergate he was involved in a confrontation with de Kock with no action taken. CA gave him the vice captaincy, a position that should be leading by example, what example does that give to the junior players.

"Australia's Test cricketers live in a "gilded bubble — disconnected, for much of each year, from families, friends and the grounding influence of community". Yeah but they're happy to take the million dollar contracts. Didn't players have to sail for weeks to play cricket for their country on 3 month tours? How much did they earn playing for their country? Not a lot. Money does go to some people's head.

CA need to take action against these fools and hit them where it hurts, the back pocket. Warner should never play for Australia again, he has done so much damage to the pride of wearing the baggy green, so much so it invoked the production of a 145-page analysis which basically wasn't required if CA took a stance against him a long time ago.

How true Mike. Leave the "attack dog" Warner in his kennel forever.

The Australian Cricketer s Association has called for CA to be held accountable for the part it played in the ball tampering incident.

ACA president Greg Dwyer said this today " details in the culture review report suggest the decision to use sandpaper on the ball during the third Test against South Africa last March was partly a result of corporate culture driven by CA that had fostered a "win without counting the cost" mentality within the national men's team".

This mob of prima donnas sit up in their gilded cages and think not even crap will stick to them. They are wrong. There is a report doing the media rounds that then CEO James Sutherland told the players "not to just win but win at all costs". We all know what  that implies?

The entire CA board from Peever down should be sacked and not allowed to see their families for 12 months.
