No interest in out women? They are at least flying our flag.. actually winning games of cricket.

Overnite  our Southern Stars began their WC T20 campaign with a win over Pakistan. Australia 5-165 (Healy 48, Mooney 48; Riaz 2-25) defeated Pakistan 8-113 (Maroof 26, Sohail 20; Schutt 2-13) by 52 runs at Providence Stadium, Guyana.

Southern Stars continue on their winning way by hammering Ireland by 9 wickets.

Terrific win over the White Ferns today by our girls.  That is three from three for our Stars. Suzie Bates played a loan hand for the Ferns as wickets tumbled around her. All the Aussie bowlers played their part.

Australia's reputation of being poor against Asian spin was again on show overnite with our Southern Stars suffering their first defeat. Chasing a challenging 167 by India.. the entire Stars lineup fell to spin. Like our men most perished playing risky slog/sweeps and not using their feet. Only Ellyse Perry and  Ashleigh Gardner looked capable against the Indian spin barrage. Even champion Meg Lanning fell  to a poorly timed slog sweep.

Please CA employ a quality Asian spinner as our slow bowling coach for both men and women.. Our current coaches appear incapable of showing our cricketers the correct way to play the turning ball.
