Oh yeah I don't think he will be dropped, mostly because like you say we can't really afford to, but he should be.
Also realised today the Europa League has actually helped us a little this season with how much we've been able to rotate and play basically 2 different sides in the league and Europa League. Does mean the match against City in 2 weeks feels slightly less daunting because we'll be playing a pretty much complete 2nd string in the Europa League against Red Star midweek.

Ox on the other hand, Monreal equaled Ox's best ever league goal return against Everton and Nketiah now just needs 3 more goals to equal Ox's best ever goal return in all comps in a season.

Well we qualified. The less said about that match though the better. A point from our final 2 games would confirm top spot.

That was fucking shit but well done to Arsenal for turning up.
Lot of shit on Spurs pages for 1) giving a free kick to Sanchez when it clearly wasn't and then 2) an offside goal (even the 2nd was close).
Reality is that Spurs never turned up and got dominated in midfield. Can't complain about marginal offsides when you're never in the game.

So Arsenal, pathetic, spineless, leaderless and well and truly out of the title race already. Spurs, amazing, wonderful, the greatest thing since sliced bread and the best title threat outside Manchester. Yet just 1 pt between the two clubs. All the talk coming into the game how there is no chance of any result but a Spurs win, which is just crazy talk considering their record at the Emirates and Highbury the last 25 or so years.
I do love how some of the press were forced to mention Pochettino's record away against the other sides in the top 6, which somehow impressively is worse than ours, but you wouldn't know that given the coverage from the media.
Would not be shocked if St Totteringham's day was back this year, which would make some of the talk this week that Pochettino's first few years at Spurs are reminiscent of Arsene's first few years at Arsenal even more laughable than it already was.

He should have started if Kane was unfit and that much was obvious.

The talk was silly, derbies never go to script. Arsenal could be on zero points and you'd never write them off in a derby at home. Poch has to man up, he's put two injured blokes on the pitch when he has fully fit back ups available. He made the subs far too late for spurs to get into the game.

It also seems like people are having trouble admitting that Arsenal just played very well. Too much talk about free kicks and offside goals.
Spurs have won 1/17 away at big clubs. We will never win a title if we can't arrest this.

Have to say I was very impressed by the gooners dominance but not unexpected, as mentioned its a huge derby you could never pick it nowadays. Best game by arse in a while imo..... My son is a full on spuds supporter and thankfully Pool did the job that normally not so it was good banter. Comparing our results v's the top6 to both of your clubs makes it worse how much we drop everywhere else last 20yrs lol.....
Love Football

Poch sees a hobbling Kane as a better option. Llorente gets stuck in and niggles and that's exactly what we needed against you lot. I'm not remotely salty. We were outplayed with an unfit team, what did we expect? Sometimes you just have to tell it like it and say 'we were completely dominated'. As for the goner hating media, whats new? You guys do implode and blame everything and everyone for it, so you only have your fans and club representatives to blame for that haha.

Jamie Carragher spot on. What I would say is, until we start treating Tottenham like we treat Arsenal, like we treat the Manchester clubs and Liverpool, that’s when you think they have overtaken them (Arsenal),” Carragher said on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football. “If Mesut Ozil had performed the way Dele Alli did in that game, we would be slaughtering Mesut Ozil. “We still think of Spurs as a young team, going forward, don’t really expect them to win, we all love to see them win. “Love to watch them, love the manager, love the players, desperate for them to win. “But we still don’t treat them the way we treat the other big players. “Some of those players now, you look at them and think ‘come on, you’ve got to step up’, now is the time.”

Even if I allowed myself to ignore the goals, I absolutely loved watching the NLD on Saturday night!
So energertic, both teams forcing a really high press. I felt like neither team had genuine control of the ball for more than 5 seconds at a time.
Alli & Kane were noticably poor compared to normal. There were several instances particularly for Kane that he would have somehow scored from if he was on his game.
Aaron Fxxxing Ramsey still annoys the hell out of me. I did enjoy when Alexis spat chips when Rambo didn't put him thru for Alexis' forward run - taste of your own medicine there, Rambo!
I said it 3 minutes in and I'll say it again - Mike Dean should never be allowed to ref a NLD ever. Surprised he worked in our favour, but still. Get him the hell away from North London!

Does seem to be more so former players doing it. Shearer said something similar on MOTD. It's the journalists that continue to dick ride Spurs no matter what and will do everything they can to avoid any real criticism or at least questions. Just look at how quickly they avoided speaking about the match and decided to focus on Arsenal posting a gif of Mesut and a cup of tea to a journalist, calling out his decision not to have a single Arsenal player in one of those stupid combined XI's

The journo who did the piece did it for clickbait. So he deserve some flak but not the constant abuse he got.
