Coming from the German fourth tier is a little underwhelming. Good experience in the top two German tiers and a lot of caps for Albania but yeah seems like an odd signing.

He has ZERO to do with Albanian football and has stated so , so i doubt highly he was banging down beers with this bloke, begging him to limp his sorry ass down to Melbourne to be buried by seagulls every match.

Leckie played with him for two seasons at FSV Frankfurt so maybe the rumour has legs. Kapllani scored 36 goals in 101 appearances for Frankfurt. He left the club at the end of the 2015-16 season when they were relegated to the 3rd tier.
