Bentleigh have done a good job of playing the role of "small club",however everyone in victoria knows that they spend more than south and heidelberg. They would easily have the highest wage bill in the npl. South and heidelberg actually put money into its junior and womens teams...at bentleigh everything goes into the seniors. Once the few benefactors they have leave they will suffer the same fate as previous high spenders who got too big for their boots.
