How about instead of Televising any 1 game a week on FTA ! at one time slot, we Televise just the local teams games to that state.
Clearly this has never been tried before and is a new concept but might work !
I'll put it in an example: Say for instance, the 1 game 'WA' will get is the Perth Glory game each week. Melbourne Victory gets to see the Victory game.

I have this feeling it might garner more support for teams as the actual fans of those teams will get to watch there team play.

Put it in super low quality resolution, so that if the fan wants to get evicted (i.e. can't meet their rent & live on the street) they have that option in place.

Like say for instance: IF I don't like San Antonio in the NBA , I won't watch them. But even if Chicago loses I watch them because I go for them?
Does that make sense?

ANd say if it was Wellington vs Brisbane Roar, I really won't watch them because not only are they completely shit, but I don't go for either team.
Even if you run the bath for me and lay my facial hair trimming equipment out for me & put a TV in their for me. Red coloured bubble bath etc etc
