AU was sixth this time in 2015 so a story like that is impossible. Also, while the team is looking good at full strength we've only seen cameos in a couple of games so we're getting ahead of ourselves.

I think the sixth is out of reach, but the team is clearly not the worst team in the competition and will cause a few headaches in the second half of the season.

Nix are looking too good to finish last (that looks to be a race between Glory and Roar at the moment with CCM threatening to enter the race) but Adelaide’s turnaround started in Round 9, R16 is way too late especially with SFC running away at the top

Thanks Ryan, I thought Adelaide may have been a bit lower. The mid table is tight and they have a game in hand. If they string some together I think it’s possible.

the thing about this season is theres only 2 good teams so if anyone strings 3 or 4 wins together they'll fly up the table. 

You just described pretty much every season. All you ever need is a couple wins and you move up the table quickly. Look at WSW, 2nd last and a few rounds later in 6th only a few pts off 4th with a game in hand.
