Has Manchester City Offloaded $100M Of Expenses On To New York City FC And Melbourne City FC?

How long until we get a scenario where New York City or Melbourne City 'buys' the next biggest superstar on the planet and then loans them to Manchester City for 5 years? I'd presume this would exclude the cost of the transfer from Manchester City's FFP obligations, correct?

But yes, we are unique, and the writer completely fails to acknowledge just how much Auditing/Accounting/Tax expense would have been required for Melbourne City to appear compliant with the salary cap.
Perhaps their share is understated rather than overstated.
