Pick of the days would be anything with OM or Monaco. Rudi Garcia in a spot of bother and Monaco need to get out of the drop zone. The Caen v Nantes game suspended due to the Sala plane incident. Still dreadful to hear but on the bright side players from across the league and around the world have been contributing to a GoFundMe to be able to continue the search.

The relationship between the fans and their football club is quite unique in France. Here is an official clip that shows that. Many players from the women team and youth team support the club. Although this shows PSG, it is nothing unique.

Huge games both of these. I may not be awake for the Metz game but bet your bottom dollar everything is on the line for Monaco on this one.

As much as I liked staying in PSG's area last OS trip I feel the league is worse that PSG have such a stacked deck worse than La Liga duopoly of Barca Real.
There is some good players there no doubt about and the French have some gun players but the league meh, the active support though I love........

I have been very busy but will update this thread on the weekend including midweek Ligue 1 and 2, also the Coupe de la Ligue matches. Been an absolute banger of a week watching French football as well as some transfer news.

The support is all that matters. Every city, every town, supports their team passionately. It makes me so happy to see.

Mid week matters saw Nantes return to action since the disappearance of Emiliano Sala. The score was 1 all at Saint Étienne but the ref showe'd two red cards, 1 for each side for a piss weak fight.

Ligue 2 on Wednesday saw Metz defeat Nancy 3-0. At this stage Paris FC are in the promotion playoffs position. PSG v Paris FC oof.

In the Coupe de la Ligue, Guingamp won 5-4 on penalties. Funnily enough, Monaco copped a red early and still managed two goals to nil at the break. In typical Monaco fashion, they blew their lead and lost on penalties.

Lillie v Nice at 6:45 on BeIN Sports and Kayo. Get around it.

Lillie 1-0 up. Game is on Connect not Kayo.

Pépé, one of the hottest commodities walks it in himself from halfway. I didn't expect Lille to perform this well.
