i think we should have a thread called "tactics" where we can talk about tactics for upcoming games or past games.

it should be unbiased as possible i think it is something we don't talk about much on here but a lot of people here have knowledge about our game so it could work. 

As someone who has not completed coach education courses I am not able to comment on tactics.
I only played and watched the game for 30+ years.
Sorry, but there will be only one person allowed to comment there........even if it does look like more.

I think that's a very interesting idea mate! I love talking about tactics and think it could start some great discussions, I like to try an work out the Mariners' tactics and how we could possibly do better even though  I'm probably a million times worse than  Tony Walmsley.

Don't we have a "Performance" thread already?  

We have had hundreds of threads about tactics on here... do we need another one? According to a certain moderator, you are not capable of discussing tactics unless you have coaching qualifications  (lol)

which ones talk about tactics? i see ones where we talk about team line up and predictions but not actual tactics 

nobody posts there and none of the posts are to do with the a league 

When this forum was in full swing many years ago that sort of chatter happened naturally in match threads.

I think it's a good thing for topics to be free form and not be forced into one or a couple topics, allows more fluid discussion. The moderation team has talked with Decentric about what should be deleted and what shouldn't.

In Performance its been general topics, be it YL and or Development but I can't see why not creating more traffic in the Performance area as you quote about.
Could be a general AL tactic thread OR ad JFP mentions club specific such as CCM etcetc......
As Davide82 it was also discussed through match day threads but I guess making it a topic on its own as suggested above can't see a prob.
Compared to some I'd prefer seeing many areas in the forum active instead of dormant as many are, in that get rid of them or fine tune it better if possible.
