First red was a straight red for the keeper with about 30 to go. I was at the other end of the field waiting for my fucking steak at the time but it looked harsh from where I was standing... everyone said it looked pretty harsh. The keeper seemed to make the save and clip Vidaic as he made it. I was shocked when we got the penalty let alone the red card to go with it lol
The second red was with less than 10 to go... Vass copped a yellow and then said something to the ref and immediately copped the second.

SydneyCroatia wrote:Another poor performance by us. The ref gifted us a way back in to the game and then we blew it with 15 to go. Should have been able to hang on for the 3 points even though we probably didnt deserve it.
Parra - another convincing loss on the scoreboard and still rooted to the bottom of the table but apparently playing the best football in the league. That's if you believe everything that batfink says on here LOL....no i dont think parra are playing the best football in the league......but i do think that comment is very funny...... i take it your a sydney united fan??? a draw against apia at home isnt so bad.......given the ref's usually help apias home record....... there are a few problems over parra way......but thats football.... our first half was very good and IF we had taken our chances we would have made a game of it....the scoreline didnt reflect the game....once again thats football......a few injuries that forced some changes at half time and with a squad with minimal depth your options are limited.......the second half was painfull...really painfull, over 17 freekicks tp parra but no yellow cards to marconi.....geez he ref's are average..... remember its only a game and there's always next week......

Lagounakis has he played this year Cant recall him playing since the trials What injury has he got Any news when he will be back
Tirovski same as him When is he back
Told you at beggining on the year your srikers werent good enough to score more than 5 goals for the whole season
Monie hard worker but wont score you many goals
I believe that Rockdale arent help with the pitch they play on heavy pitch and the pitch is terrible
Ive played on the pitch its always been in a terrible state
You guys dont play long balls and try to play the ball on the ground the pitch doesnt help
More rain forecast today but rest of the week will be ok Few showers
Our game tommorrow has been called off and the pitch is like carpet
Looking forward to the Bonnyrigg ground with one of the better pitches around
I want summer soccer in 10 away games
The following pitches where worse than some park grounds
Lets see South Coast terrible Sutherland good Manly terrrible like normal Parrammatta terrible Apia was good for once Bankstown was okay Sydney United ok but could be better Marconi a discrace Rockdale a discrace Bonnyrigg we will wait and see
How do u expect people to pay 15 dollars when the pitches are terrible
What are everyones thoughts

You are not in Europe mate. Clubs don't have millions to spend on the pitch. I am sure they all do the best they can with the money at their disposal. Grass doesn't unfortunately grow or recover well in winter. Have a look at some of the NRL pitchs? Even ANZ Stadium is shocking. Such is life - deal with it and stop whinging. It frustrates me when every week coaches complain about the pitch, how about they all take pay cuts and the money can go towards relaying new grass every few weeks????? Seriously, Rockdale's pitch was horrible. Did you see the sand/dirt kick up every now and then when the balls was kicked etc.

Yeah mate he did.....but they didnt accept his resignation and he continued... problems at parra arent on the pitch, they are in the boardroom, so now he has resigned or been pushed, whatever the case its not good for the players.....hopefully we can replace brian dene and move on and get a few wins......

Spending that type of cash on a part-time coaching team is bordering on studpity. Clubs like that are the reason why player wages have gone crazy.

Minimalistix wrote:If they can afford it, then why not? It is not about that mate. All NSWPL clubs are broke or nearly broke - NONE are making money. That is a fact. Paying a coach that much naturally means all the other coaches expect better wages and inflates peoples expectations. For example - BWE go out and sign as many players as Man City and inflate wage expectations throughout the whole competition. When crowds are an average of a few hundred, how long do you think clubs can survive like this?

Minimalistix wrote:If they can afford it, then why not? Also mate, your boys will win the Minor Premiership this year and collect 30k. Not much cash, is it? Will be lucky to page 2 weeks wages with that. Do you see my point? No TV revenue or any other income for the clubs OTHER than gate takings. Even if a club gets 1000 people and say a maximum of 500 would be full paying which equals 7.5k, still not enough to pay an average clubs wages for 1 week. Football NSW doesn't help but clubs like BWE going berserk and paying silly money does not help either.
