The team is still going to be 'playing' a player short then. You haven't solved anything.

Sure we have, because when the make up match is played, that missing player's team will play twice, making up for the round they've missed. This way, a player has just as much chance to play 38 games for a side.

The point was, it didn't change anything. You're still going to have the same problem of teams being a man short on various matches, which is why I suggested the nominal 'marquee' players for those games.

The more leagues the more complex it is. Keep it simple. Two leagues, tops. Not La Liga.

Could just go EPL and A-League

A-League doesn't run long enough. You want leagues that run at the same time.

Considering the last thing Buddha ran (Battle of the Movies) I don't hold too much hope for this one...

If I missed out, rats. But I just went through the posts, and nothing has been said about injuries. This will ruin teams. So I was thinking, if someone gets injured, you can choose a player that no one else has in their squad, then the next game your original player is back, you swap them back.

Just an opinion :d
