Perhaps we could discuss where players etc. are heading for 2012.
To get the ball rolling, I have heard to Boardman has signed with Dandaloo to be coached by the old man.

I heard it was Elasi, Mcmaster plus 2 more gone to Marconi, Bonnyrigg apparently talking to Paul Reid. Boardman now lives down in Wollongong and was always keen to move back to IPL.
Gordon from Marconi to Sutherland.

Congratulations to Sutherland and APIA I hear each team promoted at least 6 players to 1st grade from their 20’s
M Simonovic gone to Marconi from Blacktown, also Marconi kept most of their 20’s squad and bought heavily for their first grade.

I go for Bonno so they must have by far the best looking strips in the league (Science settled on this one O.K).:-$

parramatta has done the same with it's 20's squad, plenty have gone into ist grade Guess Melita will finish last again then, you would think they would keep the spine of the 20's together considering that's the reason they're still in the NSWPL. Spartans signed Chris Bedzo and Sean Mitchell who left Blacktown midseason last year to join Bankstown. They were both really good players. Not NSWPL, but Luksic and Mileski are coming home to Bankstown next season. Also returning are Godoy-Bascur ('Chile'), Burgin and Presello. Tom Doumanis has also signed. With these signings Bankstown should get promoted immediately again - fingers crossed. Edited by aussietarfan: 15/11/2011 09:50:59 AM

Parra’s 18 where also really good unit, just missed out on top 5, so maybe lot of 18's went up to the 20 or did they move with last years 18 coach to the Spartans?

Its never easy to go down to the NSW S.L and quickly come straight back up to the NSWPL.
Especially with clubs like St George, West Sydney Berries, Macarthur Rams and Mounties Wanderers will all be desperate to make it to the P.L

For those facebookers out there, I urge to join the group called NSWPL and VPL to be on SBS. The guys who run this site make up some absolute ripper rumours about the NSWPL.
Take a look at some of this pearlers(all gold):
1. Brendon Gan has rejected at $2.5k per week deal from Sydney Olympic and looks to be headed to Malaysia..... LikeUnlike · · Share · 4 hours ago ·
2. On the 20th of November there will be elections for the new president of Marconi Stallions FC the two candidates are, Vince Foti (now vic president) and Joe Tripodi (politician) BOTH PARTIES HAVE ONE GOAL AND TO GET MARCONI INTO THE TOP FLIGHT, this is why they are spending big to show the FFA how its done. We will wait and see what happens.
3. Robbie Younis will not be at APIA in 2012 and has offers from Melita, Olympic, BWE and Rockdale the player wants $1,600 per week, we will see were this transfer saga ends up in the coming days

But we hve lost a lot of players.
Luksic gone. Gullo probably going to sign in Czech. Alex Smith gone. Milevski gone.
We have kept the core of our midfield and backline.
All we really need is quality strikers. You is would be great, but can fuck off for $1600 a week.

No superstars? I said from the start of the season that they'd win it specifically because they DID sign some big names.

Edited by ralerasic: 18/11/2011 02:48:21 PM A very sad, and very funny, FB page - I joined in order to support a positive idea (to get a reasonable standard of local football on FTA tv), but over the last few months it has descended to increasingly comical levels. I don't know whether they are being fed rumours that are bullshit, or if they are simply making them up themselves. Funniest thing about the place is that they KNOW I'm pro-state league, pro-'the cause' (as it were), yet they still threaten to ban me when I argue with them for talking shit. If this is how you treat your friends, is it any wonder you struggle to make more?

He is making up quotes, I know some of the players who have been "quoted" saying stuff. They have never had an interview though lol.
Funny stuff though, joined for shits and giggles.

Find it both extremely insulting and hilarious that he refers to Sydney FC as Sydney CITY Hakoa. Bit awkward when the premise of what he wants it Australian football to return to its ethnic clubs but insults a non ethnic clubs for supposedly being ethnic.
But people like this guy really needs to be told to go watch some league or union or afl or something like that. Nothing wrong with supporting the NSWPL or VPL- in fact go ahead- but being so desperate for the A-League to fail represents the types of retards this game does not need. First of all, Ben Hudson would be me. Secondly, I think you'll find that the 'moderators' issue with sydney city 'hakoah' is that he feels one ethnic owner got what he wanted at the exact same time that he was shutting the other ethnic clubs out. He is, of course, deluded, but that's where he's coming from.

There have been any number of times people have linked him to his real name here.
The real question for me has always been 'why do forumites hide behind nicknames online?'
I don't.

Thanks for the heads up on the Facebook page, I spent a good half hour havin' a laugh at the childish crap on there.
Can I just say though, to anyone who might be one of those lads. You don't have to be white to be racist!
I hope they never stop as there are few things as funny online as misguided teenagers with chips upon their shoulders.

Alex has repeatedly broken forum rules by setting up new accounts after being banned; he plays a major part in running a facebook page which is filled with (to put it nicely) poorly researched material; he condones shocking behaviour which neither benefits the game OR his club (by reputation); he writes incredibly one-sided articles for the Roar - I think having his name mentioned on here is the least of his problems. However, if he wants to take the matter up with me privately, I'll be happy to remove references to his name from this forum.

He's not on the forum, I've spoken to him about it, legal action is a consideration
And breaking forum rules is hardly a justification on why his alias is allowed to be revealed

Edited by Minimalistix: 23/11/2011 08:49:57 AM For what is's worth it's speculation at best. A defimation case would not even be brought before a court in this instance even against 442 for allowing such things to published. So you can talk it up all you won't but it's not going any where.

Edited by Minimalistix: 23/11/2011 08:49:57 AM Legal action? Your taking the piss. Every lawyer in NSW would laugh at that guy even contemplating to make a claim. One look at his NSWPL facebook page reveals a thousand potential claims by the clubs and players he defames on a regular basis. The guy has zero credibility.

The offer has been made to remove it at his request. He's on my Facebook friends list. If the lad won't even address me directly then any legal action would be considered 'frivolous'

Does anyone know what ever happened to Peter Cvetanovski? He was playing in Aus Youth NTs and had a few years at Monchengladbach, last i heard was playing for Rockdale in 2010. Did he play anywhere this year?

I have heard that Steve Hayes has not actually signed for next season, and is negotiating with another NSWPL club.
Perhaps our United friends can help?
I am certain it is a rumour so don't attack me.

apparently hayes agreed to united, though didnt sign went on holidays. Told united about rockdales offer and if they can match it, united turned around and said good luck to you... great player, just $1800 p/w. dont think so... good luck to him though, always liked the guy, and so did the other United fans.

yer player of the year in the NSWPL.. that at $1800 p/w would be getting more money then some of, if not half of the HAL players, and he is only a semi-professional footballer, while they are full professionals. great player, but worth $1800 p/w ? i dont think so...

that at $1800 p/w would be getting more money then some of, if not half of the HAL players, and he is only a semi-professional footballer, while they are full professionals.
great player, but worth $1800 p/w ? i dont think so...
that is incorrect. min wage in a-league is around $45k. pl players are not paid over a lcander year, its per game they play (well the vast majority). do the math and you'll see where you have erred in your calculations.

what you dont take into consideration pre-season training? what 12 teams in the NSWPL? thats 22 game + cups games, thats another 4 or so, plus finals could be another 3. not including preseason and only matches thats $52k... like i said he would be getting more money then some HAL players. conclusion is $1800 p/w not worth it.
Not a Phase, Not a Trend, SYDNEY UNITED till the END!

conclusion is $1800 p/w not worth it. youve got it all wrong but not worth arguing the point. theres a lot of activity right now. weve got a few new players. im feeling more optmisistic now. anyway, will be revealed in due course. not talking about hayes.

conclusion is $1800 p/w not worth it. 1800 a week for State League is an absolute joke. So basically 240 full paying customers every home game (11 per year) would be spent on just the one player for the whole 22 match season. Do the math and it is a more than a JOKE. What do you get for winning for competition? A measely 30k. Still wouldn't pay Hayes wages. The State League clubs are going to kill themselves at this rate. I hate seeing these players ROB US our clubs of our hard earned money. How much work goes into getting sponsors? Raising money etc? Only for these players to take the lions share. The clubs should get together and say NO to these greedy players. Good on Sydney United for telling Hayes where to go!!!! Edited by ralerasic: 1/12/2011 03:39:19 PM

My mistake
Not 100 per cent sure if Marco Sama is Sama younger brother looks like its his brother
17 goals and top scorer interesting to see if he is any good
Went pass Rockdales ground saw some kind of grand stand being created and half of the seated area.
Kolner will this be ready for the start of the season

Never understood why they didn't play all Sama brothers in 1st grade at Marconi. As for Hayes: Wow, that's a lot of money. Good to see that some teams still have wealthy sponsors to pay for players like him. I wouldn't call him greedy though - wouldn't you do the same job elsewhere if another company offered you 25% more? Clearly they're overpaying but that's just what happens with blonde players

Kolner will this be ready for the start of the season its the next stage of works- the construction of a covering over the seats. should all be completed before start of next season. field works should be starting anyday now as well. improving drainage and relaying of turf etc. as for signings, we signed the quick bloke who scored a heap of gaols for berries last season- forgot his name. we also signed paul kohler, akili from olympic, and that young striker from sutho- gee im bad with names today! couple others to follow shortly.

Only issue for Younis was who offered him the most money.
Nothing else mattered in his decision.
Olympic aren't stupid and would not have given him the money he wants.

He will flourish at Sutho.
Bomber just loves spending his club's cash on players.
Had about a 30 man squad last year.
Most over-rated coach in the NSWPL.
