 Reports of a swap deal between Sp*rs and Inter with Gio Dos Santos going to Italy and Julio Cesar going the other way.

Honestly if that happens I will not stop laughing. Getting rid of yet another striker and bringing in a 4th first team GK.

They'll use the money from Modric to bring in strikers. Reports last night in Spain were that Madrid had finally come to an agreement in the area of 32m.

That's euros right? Because most reports say around 25m pounds, although some last night were saying as low as 23m.

Yeah, I assume that's Euros.

If I were Spurs I'd use that money to hijack the Mirallas deal and make a move on Damiao.

Chelsea apparently bid 39 mil pounds for Hulk, their final offer

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Great call, Damiao is going to be huge and will probably be sold on for a decent turn over in a few years if they signed him.

Saints agree Ramirez swoop

Southampton have agreed a club record £11.8million deal with Bologna to sign Uruguay midfielder Gaston Ramirez.

The 21-year-old had been approached by Tottenham, Liverpool and Inter Milan earlier this summer.

But now newly-promoted Southampton are on the verge of a huge coup by landing the midfielder, who has just had an excellent Olympic campaign for Uruguay.

Saints boss Nigel Adkins was looking for a big name attacking midfielder and had failed with a bid for PSV Eindhoven's Dutch international Jeremain Lens, but he switched his attentions to Ramirez and looks to have got his man.

Southampton chairman Nicola Cortese has brokered the deal, which is believed to be worth €15million (£11.8million).

Ramirez has confirmed he is ready to fly to England to conclude a move to St Mary's.

"Bologna will tell me on Friday if I can move," he told the Corriere dello Sport.

"The truth is that I think, yes, this time I am moving. Bologna has reached an agreement with Southampton, and there are only a few details to be found but the agreement in principle is done."

Ramirez admits that Southampton have offered him very good terms, and he is happy to become a key player for them.

"The English club has reached an agreement with me, it is the classic offer that you cannot refuse for my life as a whole and my family.

"But they believe in me in every way, I will be essential and above all they are going to grow. Southampton is a newly promoted team in the English top-flight but they will become a big team in years to come.

"They have told me they are going to build and that is very stimulating."

Honestly hope Chelsea don't get him. Good player but considering who we have brought this summer I don't think he is worth it for that much

I'm pretty sure he's a wideman, perhaps could play on the wing if necessary but not CB.
