Heskey. Hmmm... I want to be positive about this one but I dont see what hes gonna really add. Back-up striker at the most. I hope rafa doesnt see Heskey as the second star striker we need.

Im excited to see arshavin playing for arsenal.

Yeah I dont know about Heskey either, I thought Liverpool had moved on from buying mediocre players as there hasnt been one for a while but Heskey hmmm dont know.
I reckon it will be very interesting seeing Arshavin at Arsenal, if he could cut it at any of the big 4 it would be Arsenal because of their style. He has his share of critics so it will be interesting to see wether he can shoot them down

saviola will be interesting wonder how he'll adapt to england:-k

arshavin IMO will go to arsenal i've said it the whole time.

Heskey if he goes to liverpool it'll derail your title bid, it's a stupid move

Using that logic can he go to Manure?

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs may end his long-running career with Cardiff City.

Giggs’ contract expires this summer and although he is not sure if he will get an extension, he has said the thought of playing with Cardiff is definitely there.

"I always look at Cardiff City's results because they are my home-town team," he told the South Wales Echo.

"I'd like them to be in the Premiership. I have been asked many times whether I would play for my hometown team, although I don't know what the future holds for me.

"My contract ends in May so we will see. At the moment there have not been any talks on a new deal."

that's interesting, i wonder if he will.

i don't mind if he finishes his career at man united as long as he keeps his form up.
he was the best player on the pitch against chelski

A club legend like that after breaking the appearance records and winning honours like the treble and two CL finals should finish at Manchester United, he has dedicate dhis enitire career as of yet to them and it would be fitting for us to send him out, maybe a testimonial against cardiff even

They had the chance to go out winners. If they go out this season having failed...how's taht going to look? It'll be a dull end to spectacular careers.

I doubt your going to win the CL. United never perform well against Mourinho and with the monsters at Mourinho's hand your looking at defeat. I reckon the only way you'll go through is on goal difference or penalties.

Maybe to the swapping sides.
He should have retired at the end of the Champions League for a few reasons, none concerning age. He should have because he had continualy stated he would not retire untill he won the Champions league again and he achieved that, in the same match he broke the appearance record, that is easily the best game to go out on. Scholes maybe because he wasnt involved in 99 because of card accumulation but he still has a bit to offer to the team. Neville? He should have gone out at the end of 06/07 when he actualy played a bit. SAF shouldnt have imo

I found it on the site morgan gave in the Singnatures thread, there's no way I'm that good with photoshop.

Compared to Inter, you're nothing. Walter Samuel, Chivu, Materazzi, Cordaba and Zanetti... Ibra. Adriano used to be but isn't anymore. Muntari's pretty strong, Stankovic and Cambiasso boss the midfield. Cruz ain't bad either.

Messi's the best in the world right now followed by Ibrahimovic and you can bet Ibra will be on fire when you meet.

Ferdinand, Vidic are (arguably) the best CB pairing in Europe and Evra is all class, if we had a good RB we would have possibly the best backline in Europe. Evras strength, pace and link up with the wingers is awesome and in the middle we have Carrick wo is extremely underated, Scholes who is valuable to the team, Anderson who is a great young player, Park who was influential in us beating Barca in the Semis last year. Ronaldo the FIFA world player of the year, Rooney, Tevez and Berbatov up front. Out of Inters team list probably Ibra and to a lesser extent Zanetti and Maicon are the only ones who I would worry about

Vidic will be out for the first leg and that will hurt your cahnces. Ferdinand can't handle him on his own.

Ronaldo will sulk, Tevez probably won't play, Berba doesn't run and Materazzi will get under Rooney's skin so bad he'll get a red card.

Cambiasso and Muntari have enough about themselves to hold off any midfield threat and Dejan will provide spark and drive.

Evra might be a problem but Maicon will handle him.

Ronaldo will be the typical Euro Ronaldo, go for runs have an average game and may just pop up out of no where and score. It will depend on Rooney because if he fires then so should we, hopefully Tevez plays he would be great against inter. Our midfield workds well together and they pass the ball around excellently and hold the possesion excellently the only trouble with it is that they cant seem to get the ball to the forwards. Giggs in CM though is working well and he was awesome against Chelsea

Rooney still has rushes of blood to the head he just doesn't get them as often. Materazzi is a master of annoying people and can get to him.
Evans may be a good defender against the worst Chelsea for a while.
Ronaldo may be up for it but he'll be beaten by down by a physicsl Inter. Imagine Stoke with talent.
