Just saw the bullard signing news. Absolutly delighted!! I know he sometimes goes missing for periods but you can't deny his quality. A real coup for us and hopefully the beginning of better times after a dissapointing month and a bit. I'm quite surprised he left fulham for us tho, maybe we offered him juicy pay packet.
EDIT: ahh... 45,000 pounds a week probably has a lot to do with his decision ^_^

Shame though, I like Fulham, and Bullard doesn't deserve to play in the championship, which is where Hull will be after they get second season syndrome next year. Whether he's top class or not, if they keep signing players like Bullard, etc., Hull won't suffer second season syndrome.

11.37 Dirk Kuyt's agent has distanced his client from reports linking him with a move to Juventus.
10.44 Gianluigi Buffon would leave Juventus if he was the subject of a "fantasy football bid" like AC Milan playmaker Kaka, the goalkeeper said on Saturday.
10.29 Zenit St Petersburg have issued an ultimatum to Arsenal to conclude a deal for wantaway playmaker Andrei Arshavin today, or risk missing out on him entirely.
10.11 Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has hinted that he could reunite Emile Heskey with Michael Owen in the summer. Would the Newcastle striker be a good signing for Villa?
9.45 Jose Mourinho has conceded his liking for Jermaine Jenas and Didier Drogba and admits a deal could be done in January.

Tbh he isn't going to give us too much. He has valuable experience and is a quality player. But with 16 games left this season in the Premier League and the normal settling in period for a player from another league and it doesn't leave him with much time to have a big impact.
That said though I really hope we do sign him, as unlikely as it is atm. I would much prefer a quality DM though or a solid commanding CB.

Bendtner, despite his poor efforts this season, has a knack for scoring off the bench late in the game. He's definitely not ready to play full matches and lead our attack, but as an impact player he's proven to be quite useful at times.
And true about not signing anyone. I just can't understand Wenger's lack of interest in a DM. When you sell off 3(Flamini, Gilberto, Diarra) and don't bother even buying 1, then that's just poor managing. We have Denilson whose been pretty damn good this season, but I still question his defensive skills and that's how Wenger is playing him. So this is the number one position we need cover and soon!

Quote:What. The. Fuck. If this happens I will fucking kill myself. Cheap tie and rickety stool at the ready then. Young Owen + Heskey = quality stuff. Old owen + Heskey = fail. Heskey needs someone to do his running for him. Owen is in the same boat now. Wouldn't work, doens't take a genius to figure that out. Hopeful, speculative reporting at best. David Villa for 90mil Euro?? Given the moeny City have at their disposal, DONE DEAL imo. Re: Bendtner; So the guy scored off the bench once or twice, big fucking deal, the bloke's a fucking joke. The only reason Arsenal still have him is that nobody will take him off their hands.

In other news: According to skysports: -Jenas and Drogba could well be Inter bound according to Mourinho. -the talks of £70million for David Villa have been labelled "paltry". -Javier Saviola has once again been linked to Portsmouth and has described his situation at Real Madrid as "desperate" and "intolerable". -Gael Givet is looking to impress during his loan spell at Blackburn and make the deal permanent.

AS if he'll go to Bolton
Out of all the clubs that have shown interest, e.g United, City, Milan and Arsenal Bolton are the only ones to actualy confirm a bid and this isnt the first time either but yeah Bolton will be priced out of it and I cant see him giving up Champions League football for Bolton

It's been more than that and at times like this when we aren't creating too much, I'm stoked to have a player capable of making an impact. He is lazy and generally not that great a player which is why I'm glad he hasn't been starting matches. And with regards to no one wants him, Arsenal have already rejected a bid from some German club, can't remember who. That's interesting about Miguel Veloso. Would've thought a bigger club than Bolton would've put in a serious bid by now.
