I suspect that the price paid for Glen Johnson, coupled with Chelsea grabbing Turnbull and Sturridge for their bench, indicates that EPL clubs are beginning to plan ahead for the 6+5 rule coming into effect... Grab the English lads when you can.

As for Turnbull's decision to leave Boro - if I found myself second choice to Brad Jones I'd certainly be looking for a move. The bench at Chelsea is certainly a nicer place to be!

Yep, Radio 5 was reporting yesterday that the little fella was at United's training grounds warming up with the players and talking to Fergie. Massive news if true. Kick in the teeth for Scousers and Geordies alike.

lol yep supposedly he is taking a 50% pay cut if he signs and he was on 115k at toon so thats only 57,500 pounds a week which is like 3 million pounds for a year excluding bonus's and sign on fees. Looks at Tevez who was 26.5mill to buy and was rumored to demand 110,000 p/week.
