I don't know if this has been discussed already but i just saw the Inter/Barcelona agreement to swap Ibrahimovic for Eto'o, 35million pound plus Hleb on loan for a year. Sounds like a bloody good deal for Inter. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/8155593.stm

Ibra is good but he is not that good. Brilliant deal for Inter.
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

There was a deal for him and Nyron Nosworthy for 5 million, but The Noz has said that he wants to stay and fight for his place. Clubs now arguing over which player was valued as what part of the 5 mill. I suspect we'll get about 3 million for him. Good luck to the lad - honest hardworking pro who never let us down through a lack of effort (skill, yes, composure, yes, but effort, no).

Quote:And Spurs are weighing up a move for Manchester City winger Martin Petrov, 30, and could prize him away from Eastlands for £5m. That right there, is a fucking good deal. If Rafa sells Alonso to City or Chelsea it had better be for 50m+ Selling a fantastic midfielder is one thing. Selling him to a team in another league is a little different. Selling him to two title rivals in the same league is a whole new level of fucking stupid.
