Not really transfer news as such but apparently we're pretty well off in the transfer kitty. AW has just said he could pay 30million pounds on a player if he wanted to. Just thought that was interesting as a lot of people seem to think we're pretty poor due to AW's unwillingness to spend much.

LITTLE are you kidding you guys have over 600 million pounds due to the yanks. Manu arnet as bad as Madrid though who ar financed by the spanish Govt. Get this a few seasons ago the spanish Govt bought the madrid training ground of them for about 3 times the market price.

He was down to third in the pecking order for the left back possie behind silvestre and clichy so he wasnt gonna be playing much. He is a good player. In the same mould as Clichy. Good for everyone involved. I have a feeling you wont want to hand him back though.

R u kidding. Thats a pretty uninformed oppinion everybody gets on senderos , because of the match where drogba skinned him. OMG a 21yo CB who got skinned by the best striker in the world at that time. Where have i seen that before oh wait a young John terry gets bullied by lunberg yes freddie may have been good but hes a pretty small guy.Also arsenal conceed WAY less goals when either gallas or toure partner senderos, do you remember the record set by Arsenal in the 2006 champions league 10 matches without conceeding, in that champions league run Senderos showed that he CAN and WILL be a worldclass player. if you need anymore convinving just look at the club he has been loaned to AC milan and AC know their defending.

He is definitely a player that if played with the right partner and given a bit of a confidence boost could become a nightmare for strikers. I really think Wenger has lost it this off season. Our squad is already down to the bare bones, granted we have about 12,000 players injured but even when they come back, there's a damn good chance they'll only last a few games. We have one of the most fragile squads and in the EPL that is especially worrying. Loaning and selling off about 5 or 6 players and only bringing in a couple of players, 1 who is experienced in the EPL, doesn't seem like good business at all.

Gokhan Inler looks set to have signed a new contract at Udinese so looks like we'll be missing out on him. Alonso is way to similar to Cesc, while attacking will be great we are going to concede even more goals as we have a very poor defense. Gareth Barry is waaaaaay overpriced for our money conscious manager. I think we need two, not one, but two midfielders because if an injury occurs to Cesc that keeps him out for more than 2 weeks we are finished.

Still, all that aside this team has some serious talent and I'm staying positive. We will win the EPL. Lol. :d
