Living in a difficult time as i don't want to support a team from fairfield. Pooring money and time into a team which will eventually become a fairfield team would be horrible. What do i do?

What do i do? This isn't a team from Fairfield. Even if it moves to Fairfield it will still represent the west. Might as well go support SFC if that means so much to you.

What do i do? i dont see anything wrong with fairfield and its not a fairfield team anyway, its a west sydney team. people from fairfield/liverpool are pretty much accepting that its a parramatta/blacktown central side and are still willing to committ.

I'd suggest that a training, administration facility with a small stadium will happen. A full stadium... perhaps. Plans are afoot. They will take time to grow. Where in Fairfield can you build a full stadium that is within a 10 minute walk from the railway station?

Where in Fairfield can you build a full stadium that is within a 10 minute walk from the railway station? Fairfield park and makepeace athletic field (and its surrounding park) are the only viable options within that distance and they are horrible options. If there is ever a stadium in that area it wont be in fairfield it will be in liverpool and the only viable option would be woodward park (eg whitlam) and they tried that once..didnt go so well. It would have to be shared with an NRL team anyway. Theres nothing wrong with parra and it will be extended and revamped in the near future. Is the wisest option anyway really, strong growth area, lots of transport, surrounding area could be transformed into a "centre of excellence" the list goes on.

I saw another site that some guy claiming that WSW were looking at signing up Darryl Roach from Port Melbourne (he's a Montserrat international \:d/ ) anybody here heard anything about that? i'd be surprised if it's true, he hasn't looked like anything special when I've seen him play

Where in Fairfield can you build a full stadium that is within a 10 minute walk from the railway station? The oval near Patrician Brothers or perhaps the site near the leisure centre. Keep in mind though, that the plans aren't for a stadium near the station, but instead out at the Western Sydney Regional Park. When I said Fairfield I was talking more in the wider sense of the LGA not as much the suburb.

will be available 1pm tomoro I'm sure some whinging git will complain that they're not being given away(relatively speaking of course) like NUJ memberships, but they look like pretty standard prices to me, about what I'm paying for my Gold(sideline) membership at AUFC. No reason I can see not to see a large take up of these.

They are about on par with eels memberships as well. Except they have a million and one different categories. heres the link for anyone that cbf: http://www.parraeels.com.au/membership-packagesPrices are pretty standard across the a-league. The only problem were going to find is if we get bumper crowds the food, drink and toilet lines will be fucked. There are some problems with the way the stadium is managed in that sense, but hopefully the reno gets announced and it will sort out most of those problems.

Here's hoping!

Just an update, or more clarification/confirmation - Going by another article on here, the Wanderers have signed Adam D'Apuzzo and Jason Trifiro to take West Sydney's squad tally to 11 now, is this correct?

its pre-season, MV lost 4-3 last night, AU drew 2-2 with a state side tonight, plus WSW are trialing players.
