Interested to see what the numbers will be like. My guess is somewhere around the 1500 mark.

The trial game against Blacktown City FC is $5 entry for adult yet the previous two were FREE entry i wonder why they made a change and who takes the gate takings.
If its the Blacktown City FC who keep the money from tickets sold then Nepean and Spartans would be kicking themselves that the same fee wasnt charged for thier games against us as that money would be pretty good for a state league club especially Nepean who are in like the 4th tier of football in NSW.

They posted 1200 yesterday.

Does anyone know if the new Croatian striker will play tomorro night?

Yeah.

Was on the Twitter account as well. 1200 isn't bad for half a week. Club has said they are looking into putting a counter on the website and facebook. So that's a good thing too. Not sure the crowd will be as big tomorrow, depends how many new members go as well. Surely the $5 gate fee won't deter too many people. I'll be at work unfortunately.

Hopefully they do put the counter on for everyone to see. I think every A-League club should do this.
Yeh i highly doubt we will get over 4,000 tomorro night but im confident it will still be a very good turnout.

1st game against Nepean is a 4th Div side at a suburban park. They wouldn't have charged for this.

2nd game was at WSW's training ground, so Spartans can't charge.

3rd game is at Blacktown City's home ground, and WSW is effectively the away team, hence the $5 fee which will be going to Blacktown City.

I see no problems with this.

The game against Sydney United will be similar. There will be a $5-10 fee because WSW will be hosted by Sydney United.

It's worth paying to get into the Syd utd just to get at the cevapi! best i've had in the west.

Plus anyone bitching about having to spend $5 to support local football is really missing the point.

So the WS squad so far. You guys currently have 14 players. So there are another 9 spots available. (Plus any injury and guess spots, which appears unlucky) The squad also has the 5 foreign spots.

Left him out at first, then put him in after a quick google search. Wasn't too sure though.

Good win and a decent performance, especially the first half. Got a bit scrappy in the 2nd half due to all the subs, but some good signs in that first half.

Also good to see that my sig is still 100% true :d

Who was the LB in the first half? Horrible excuse for a footballer.

:lol: This. Had 1 decent shot but couldn't defend or pass to save his life.

Did Tahj play?

Mooy showed why he is absolutely essential to this team in the first half. Perkatis put in a good effort but isn't ready for A-League yet. Bridge with a typical performance - some good moves, but also quite a few poor ones. Travis Major was given way too much space by him and the LB in the first half

Yeh got a hold of his shot well. Just didn't look like a LB, looked so out of place. From what I saw, hopefully he doesn't sign.

Yep Mooy was outstanding, what a player. I didn't think Bridge was to bad, although it wasn't him up against Major in the first half, it was Haliti out on that side with Elrich. Bridge was on the left. He worked hard, tracked back ok and saved his left back a few times.

Yeh, Mooy was great. I remember when I used to play with him, he was just a quick winger, never touched the ball with his right foot, all left foot. Now he just sits in the middle and you would swear he is a right footed player.

Will be great this season.

Yeah I mean when you've got Mark Bridge saving you defensively you know you're not A-League level.

Also, signed up as a foundation member.
