There's some serious talk about it over on SFCU. He's not playing next week, and hasn't played since back in Perth a month ago. Thus it won't trigger the extension clause in his contract. Apparently he's only training with the team, nothings being confirmed as of yet, but given he came close to signing on in China before Sydney, I wouldn't be at all surprised. I feel sorry for him if this is true, while he isn't the world's best defender, he's certainly been given the rough end of the stick. Especially since it came to light about this contract clause regarding # of games needed to trigger the extension. No word on any club as such, but like I said, it sounds like the deals gone through or is very close to going through.
