I thought it was a pretty good PPV overall, bar the useless Ryback squash match. Love him or hate him - massive respect for Cena.
Pity how the 2 out of 3 falls match ended - Cena 2.0 picking up the win was pretty predictable unfortunately :(

Here's a report I just read, slightly edited: Quote: Brock Lesnar came out like a house afire as he took down John Cena.. busted him open with a series of elbows.
Cena charged out of the corner and was taken down again as Lesnar pounded again.. was once again taken down and brutalized by Lesnar.
Cena hit a series of shoulder blocks on Lesnar, but Lesnar quickly came back with a pair of German suplexes.
Lesnar resumed his domination on Cena
Lesnar methodically stomped and kneed Cena.
Cena struggled to get to his feet, Lesnar hit a clothesline. Chained legs around the post and (Lesnar) continued to pound on him.
Cena's momentary comeback fell short as Lesnar threw him into the steel steps.
Lesnar hit an F5
Lesanr brought out the steel steps, and slapped on a Kimora on the steps.
Cena countered the move with a spinebuster on the steps, but missed the ensuing flying leg drop.
Cena hit Lesnar with a chain-covered fist.
Cena followed up with an Attitude Adjustment on the steps on a bloodied Lesnar for the win.
Shit like this is why everyone is abandoning WWF. Cena gets destroyed for the entire match, hits one move, then an object attack, finisher then wins.

Almost looked like a turning point in the game. -PB

Only just discovered this thread.....LOVE IT!!!
Are the Bellas being fired one of these "we're firing them but they are going to be "rehired" in a few weeks once Eve has left her new role" or is it the real deal??
Sick of JL. If People Power was the rule, he would be gone. I hope Cena turns him into a bloody pulp.

Not sure if they're being resigned or anything, haven't looked into it. Don't care enough to look, the divas division is a joke and they're two of the biggest jokers in it. I think they've wanted out for a while. Thought giving 1 of them the title was a peace offering trying to get them to stay. Obviously not.

Yeah Divas and Tag Team divs have just gone stale. They were on the right track when they had Rhodes bring out the classic IC Title and started putting my weight and importance behind it but then they have it to Big Show and it went dry again (even with Rhodes getting the gold back @ ER). U.S. Title is the same. These two titles are meant to signify the #1 contender for WHC/WWE Titles, meant to be the #2 guys in the business, but alas WWE is famous for not following its own Kayfabe at the best of times. Bring back Cruserweights too imo, or at least religate it as a champion of a show like Superstars etc for upcoming talen. -PB

Well that's effectively what they're used for now isn't it? Pretty much a crowd* yardstick to see test the waters before they lump serious TV time onto a certain star. *= Doesn't work with Chicago based crowds, case in point Money in the Bank 2011 rofl. -PB

I hate Raw Rewind or Raw Flashback. They have it on every show and it takes up soo much time. It just goes to show that WWE does not know what to do with their talent that they need to fill up time by showing these stupid rewinds.

Heyman showed up still with his fading ponytail to rip on the fans and say Brock Lesnar quit
Obviously he hasn't really. They'll probably save him for Summerslam

The days where Ric Flair would bleed every week are gone and it sucks. Where the hell is Batista? Who is this Brotus Clay dude? He does not even come close to a Val Venis or a Simon Dean hahaha

granted that Brock vs Cena fight was pretty brutal, its just the way they keep reeling it in every time it looks like something great could happen or the PG era could be broken, is damn annoying. Just break away from that PG for a bit and go extreme.
and give more wrestlers chances. bring back the cruiserweight title and maybe have a superstars title on the superstars show. give the mid carders more of a reason for being there and dont just have squash matches with ryback and brodus, give them proper meaningful story lines.

Cago has always been one to go against the trend. Look at the love my boy D Bryan was getting, shucky ducky I don't belie'dat. Not looking forward to Smackdown this week based off spoilers, too many squashes + no contests. Although SD! has always been the sister show, it really should have so much more to it then giving all of the A grade talent to Raw. Killing off ECW entirely several years ago was such a bad decision too imo. -PB

I always thought they brought back ECW wrong anyway. They had a chance to give the Attitude 'bitters' something to start watching again. To sum it up, they took the Extreme out of Extreme Championship Wrestling.
