Lost my friendly in Norway. Good times. More concerned about keeping my league form going though so no matter.

restarted the youth team, getting destroyed with a lot of default runts but last night my first recruit got 8.5 stars as a forward and scored 2 goals. gun. he's 17,70 unfortunately. should get a million from him if trained to potential.

Fucking smashed the team who came second last season 4-1 away. CA worked beautifully. Second on the table to the team who got relegated last term. If I can beat him in 3 weeks, the title's there for the taking. Got one for this week. I'll keep next week free. Whats your ID again?

bah, the recruit mentioned above scoring is max solid. not worth it. come on scouts find some excellent 15-16yo play makers and wingers for me to promote to defence training prospects in the firsts.

How's everyone going with this?
On Saturday night, I spent $2.1 million and the next day, ended up losing 1-0 at home to the winless, bottom of the league team who had 1 chance, for 1 goal. Absolutely drove me up the wall.
After last night, you Liverpool fans will know what I mean. :p

The youth pulls and scouting I've had have been absolutely attrocious. The best player I've had in the last three seasons is Passable. Last week I lost 5-0 to top of the table - he had THREE penalties. This week I hit the woodwork three times against him and he rescued a point on the counter. Luckiest prick alive.

Played my closest challenger back to back... he won 4-1 at home, I won 4-0 at home. I'm top on GD now. As long as I don't slip up against the likes of 3rd and 4th I'll win the title. Will be my first Div 4 title as well :)
Brush played half a game for Oceania last Friday as well... got 10 stars. He now has 250k TSI. What a man.

In fact Quote:The most dominating Nippon player was without a doubt Tsumemasa Hirano. Shigetoshi Miyata on the other hand, had a terrible day. Oceania's best player was Eddie Brush. However, Clarence Buchhagen made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 1. \:d/ \:d/

Youth scouts have eventually delivered the goods. Was offered a player age 15/37 with the potential of excellent defending. Yes please.

Brilliant for me as I train defending. It has been such a long time since I had any decent finds from the scouts.
BTW Imno, when do players stop popping?
I have (defenders):
25/8 - Titanic 23/69 - Titanic 22/70 - Titanic 22/89 - Titanic 21/71 - World Class 21/18 - World Class 20/56 - Magnificent.

About 30 is when they start to decrease in skills. But level ups are much slower when you get above, say, 25.
That's a fuckton of defenders  I'd sell the oldest of the titanics tbh.
And I'd start training passing or winger or PM. Single skilled players are worthless nowadays. Magnif/formid PM will be worth more than a straight titanic.
So yeah, switch your training to something else, in a season or two you'll have a goldmine.

If you want to maximise the value of your defenders, train either wing or passing.

If I train PM or wing, wouldn't that be of little benefit to my defenders, as they aren't actually playing PM or wing?
Leaning towards training passing after my defenders skill up once more.

Training PM only benefits midfielders. Training Wing will help defenders playing the fullback position but that's all.
Passing is the most efficient way to increase the value of your defenders.

Been in hopeless form, two losses and a draw in the last 3 weeks - but thankfully the league leader has done the same, so I'm only 3 pts behind him with a superior GD. He's away to third next week too - I think I'm in with a serious chance of winning.
Almost definitely lose the playoff though

West Auckland Juggernaughts 10 My question is this. Obviously, I need a miracle to get a playoff. My team spirit is walking on clouds. I play Port Tomsk and Esperance in my last 2 games. When I should I use my MOTS, or should I MOTS twice?

Which games are home/away? It's more imperative that you beat Esperance.

Definitely don't MOTS twice, especially with a playoff probably coming up.
I'd probably say MOTS this week if you think you need it to win, but definitely don't MOTS the week before the playoff.

Depending on who Juggernaughts play, my advice would be to PIC v Tomsk. You'll only need 3 points to stay up by the looks. And you'll probably have to MOTS again in the play-off.

West Auckland plays Sharkies Champs (A), Sinopoli (H).
I lost at home 0-1 to West Auckland in what is proving to be very costly now. He had 1 chance the whole game.

I guess if you MOTS this week and win you can PIC next week regardless.
