How are you going to determine how the players are distributed after the deadline?

It will be another auction. If you want to leave yourself 1 million or 10 million for that final player, it's up to you. But it will still be a part of the initial 20mil budget. And we'll go by the same process as the initial auction.

So we have 20mil for FIVE players, however we can only select FOUR for the beginning of the season. Correct?

We'll probably go reverse table order for Jan.

But yes - 4 players in the first round of the auction and then a 5th player a few weeks later, when the deadline passes. So save some money :P

The player we pick up in January will not cost you anything. It will just be in reverse table order. So the 20mil will just be for the first 5 players.

If one of your players gets sold in August, during/after R1 of the auction, you will get that money back and then you can replace him after Sept 1. So if you have RVP, but he gets sold on August 26, you then get whatever money you spent on him back but you can't spend it until the auction after Sept 1.

Ever since I have really followed the league it has always had a 'B' sponsor (since 2001) so am used to be it and when it is the name on many of the games me and my mates often used to use BPL instead of EPL

Since I have look up to see whether Barclay's is a bank or an airline I don't think they are getting to much cash from us. I think it is easier because if the leagues are listed it is listed under B not E so it is easier to find. I also called the League cup the Carling cup (not any-more), La Liga as Liga BBVA and Secunda Division as Liga adelante. I have no idea what type of companies sponsor these but since they are used as the official names I use them.

From memory, we did the same thing with Blackpool in the first season we did this and they were third on the table :lol:

Buddha can take the last spot, but he'll be o/s for most of the season, but he'll be here for the auction at least (r1 at least)

But i'm sure we'll get another.

It's not 'easier' to find, it's just as easy to find, it's just slightly higher up the list.

If you want to open the options up a bit, and make administration a little simpler...

Add GK and DEF to the 5 players. So you're signing a GK, a DEF, and 3 goalscorers. You weekly result becomes how well your goalscorers do against your defenders. So rather than us playing each other, we are effectively just playing against (rather than with) ourselves.

I did post the official sight naming it the "Barclay's premier league" but to be honest I most likely did use BPL because of earlier FIFAs as we never had payTV, I wouldn't get up at 1-3am (except for the odd WC game) and the fact I didn't really get to use the internet until probably 2006 FIFA was my only interaction with the league so if they used it I would to.
