Hey guys,

Just a quick update on what's happening with the Roundtables. We're on a hiatus at the moment while we nut out the direction and future of the shows, but have some exciting news that we'll release over the next few months.

After a very long, tired and silly conference call last night (in which Ashnak drank a whole bunch and swore more than I've ever heard him swear before), we have a new name, a domain registered and a plan moving forward for regular panel & guest spots. The hosting & guest process will also be streamlined so it's not always linked to my personal account which I would like to reclaim and use for bombasting about my pink leftist ideals again.

In the meantime, if you have any suggestions or ideas about regular segments, inclusions, styles or what you would like in a show, please fill this thread with them so we have a common repository of ideas that we can consolidate later.

Sounds good. I think KiwiChick should be on the first show back to get the interest flowing again.

could you make there also be an audio only copy so you could put it on itunes, much easier to listen to instead of having to sit at a computer to listen. (I also have limited bytes at uni)

Yep, still two shows but lining them up so they run on the same format, just different subject matter.

The real question is what you guys want the focus of the shows to be, because Zimbos and I disagree a bit so finding an ongoing balance between issues & analysis is what we're looking at.

I reckon, analyse a 'match of the week'. Sometimes there might be two and the rest on issues, which at times, will be about the actual match.

I nominate a roundtable to be called the Llounge, and shit to be talked on said roundtable

during the season, and if there's input from a person from every or a large majority of clubs, have an "around the ground" update which talks about the atmosphere, crowd numbers, noise levels, security-bashing, etc from the game each week.
