NAC test Aussie Greek

Again this morning NAC receives a test player in the Autotaalglas Training in Zundert. It is the 18-year-old attacking midfielder Paul Katsetis. It closes at 10:00 hours to the training of the first team.

Katsetis born in Sydney but holds a Greek passport, began playing football in his native Australia. At age fifteen, he moved to AEK Athens, where he soon joined the promises. He impressed and even became youth international of Greece under -17. For the national team, he scored twice.

Last season forced Katsetis transfer down to Catania, playing in Serie A. This is the club where NAC striker Kingsley Boateng played last year. At the Italian club he played his games, especially in the second team. To debut in the first did not happen.

Stampolzief Robert-Alexander (October 26, 1990 - Greek nationality) who signed cooperation contracts for 3 years.

Andrew Marveggio is the most recent acquisition of Fortuna Sittard. The 22-year-old Australian, who played at SC Telstar the past three years, signed a one-year contract on an amateur basis.

In Velsen-Zuid (Telstar) he failed to develop into a solid value. So our new coaching staff suspect that was erroneously. Marveggio get a season to show it.

Paul Katsetis is trialing there. He played in their most recent game, a 10-0 win coming on in the second half. He didn't score but it was 6-0 in the half he did play so he could have done all right. Hopefully he might break through this year and hopefully he will choose to play for Australia. Just going off his twitter, he does mention Australia and supporting us at the world cup but also Greece and he did go back to Greece for the break so I don't know.

i wish i didn't come to Greece for summer, so i could have gone and watched the origin, dammmmmm :/ ....

Saw in interview just after the season where he said he would honor his last year on his contract but didn't really know. Can't find much but here is a photo accompanying an article on their pre season fitness testing and he seems to be front and centre in a yellow bib. No real time stamp on the photo though.

Do you feel the way Katsetis is going he might get a professional contract at Breda? From the stuff on you tube he looks like a interesting prospect.
