Here's the post and the last 5 replies, translated: Time, I would be interested how you see the current situation to our goalkeeper. I have to say that I it super found that Kloppo Langerak has had her play. I would not have dared to almost this change our coach. As they say: extraordinary situations call for exceptional measures. I also don't understand why this is seen as critical that Klopp led with novel according to no detailed discussion. He has said in advance that he will communicate every personnel decision privately and the players have to accept. The BVB was until Friday in last place of the table, and that with this squad. It is anyway clear that nobody is untouchable (in particular, when you play as a porridge, as Willow last). So if even already Klopp in question was, then you must question only players who were absolute power in the past, right. In recent years, Weidenfeller was without a doubt a strapping keeper who saved our ass often. His invitation to the national team was therefore absolutely deserved. I give him the World Cup title with all my heart. In this season you must hold but unfortunately, that novel is (still) not exactly at the height, why ever. In my opinion it deserves also just Mitch, to get a real chance. I hope that Langerak initially remains until the winter break in the box. It would make sense also somewhere immediately to take him out, where we play with him in the box to zero have won (even though he was not really tested). Basically I have to admit honestly, and I don't say that now because novel has a bad phase, I was never a big fan of Weidenfeller. I was of the opinion that he has been very strong in recent years and was the best keeper in the League behind new course. Still novel is simply too old-fashioned. The game has become fast and the attacks and counterattacks, which need to be initiated to create a dangerous situation, often quickly go know at the goalkeeper. In this respect, our No. 1 is really extremely weak. Novel tees are often very imprecise and land too often on the enemy or in the. Overall, with the ball at his feet, he is just incredibly bad. The mastery of the penalty area leaves to be desired unfortunately for him. When I see how corners or pure whipped flank at head height by the five fly and thereby sticking novel on the line, neck hair stand up me. And when he comes out here, then he curled simple balls often away, rather than to catch them and possibly initiate a quick counter-attack. Of course it must be said that even Mitch has not necessarily gives the impression in the past, that he is much better than Romasn with the foot and in the control of the penalty area. However, Mitch has also never really had the opportunity to show something longer times. He's now his 5th year at us on the bench. I just hope that he now gets a fair chance to show themselves over a slightly longer period. And as long as it goes well for him and for the whole team, I see no reason to put him back on the bench. Reply 1 Weidenfeller plays until then a possibly mixed season. 1 super game in Munich, but 2 major bloopers (Cologne and Frankfurt) and many, many uncertainties, not just stop giving the already shaky defense. But that alone cannot be the reason, why Klopp him suddenly out takes and it so players earned a justified not even just under 4 eyes. Spekulatius, is now but apparently novel soo well trained, at least has Klopp Yes expressly the great training services by Mitch praised. Novel has Kevin Großkreutz syndrome probably, has not coped with even the world title and can get currently just not his usual performance. Mitch remains until the winter break I guess in the gate, then the cards will be reshuffled. Am but clamped, what happens in the summer, if Mitch also permanently prevails. Reply 2 Caveat: I like Weidenfeller correctly. He is one of the faces of the BVB for me. I like his way on and off the Court. And: Klopp is a rather very authoritarian type - safe which I find ok. Means: outwards, keeping always the hand over his team. Inside, he will let but surely no doubt who is boss. Clear therefore that he makes any individual discussions with affected query. With any player - also not a really deserving players. So or so I can understand the decision absolutely, find them right and proper. Since the World Cup, Weidenfeller is an almost tragic hero. The world champion, who actually is not one. The Feiertier that must live with the latent scorn that at best, it has played a role in the warm up. Not a minute on the place in the tournament. You must put it away. Faced with a Manuel Neuer, entirely differently defined the goalkeeper game. Truth be told: wonder when Weidenfeller would be in crisis? -At the arsenal game in September he did partly stunned me with discounts, which were given over to friend and foe (to just mention some examples). That in the current season were slapstick interludes here, is also not to have. Klopp has everything done right - for this time. A click for the first goalkeeper. A Pats on the back for the second. A signal at all: it can affect anyone, which raises doubts. He should not discuss it. It is a team, after all, and everyone takes just the place, he gets and fills out. Weidenfeller is and continues to be one of the faces of "my" BVB - for me but he is not inviolable. He is not getting any younger. If Klopp so that a character wanted to put also on Langerak, then was it properly and well. A "changing of the guard" must not be so still. Incidentally, I also think that Weidenfeller thus can bypass, can go to. Reply 3 Generally: Weidenfeller is a good keeper - without question Aber...in of the serious situation in the BVB is located is his front men to unhelpful his aggressive appearance. After failures of the Verteider, mostly their own shortcomings followed in particular his off grids. This weakens his position immensely. Got Klopp right, with a smile (Langerak) can be solved more team situations. Note: The performance of a goalkeeper is more than the sum of the balls held, it comes to the mood in the last row. Reply 4 Klopp can Mitch in the DFB Cup very often play. If novel blocked, injured or out of form, Mitch is no. 1. Novel is 34 and Mitch 26. There you can worry time slowly through a detachment or more inserts by Mitch. Mitch is now 4.5 years at the BVB professionals and should have settled in all right and the processes with the players should be good. Some is done so, when Mitch would be 18 and only this season changed at Borussia Dortmund. Reply 5 This novel started the back round is the number 1 anyway. I like Mitch in the box until the winter.

Reports suggesting either keeper could play tomorrow against Anderlecht. I've got a bad feeling Weidenfeller will be given a shot again.

Is it true that every time Langerak has been on, they have won? I don't recall a match they haven't.

You could say that until the first Bundesliga game this season where he played the 90 and lost to Bayer Leyverkusen. Before that it was 19 league, cup and supercup wins straight. He also lost in a Champions League game last year against Napoli, but you can't really count it as he came on after a red card for Weidenfeller, so really it was his fault!

Yep, I think Klopp will give Weidenfeller , every chance to keep he number 1 spot, and he will use Weidenfeller Tuesday Edited by adrtho: 9/12/2014 12:34:00 PM Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has insisted Roman Weidenfeller still features heavily in the club's future.
Dortmund have reportedly been weighing up whether to replace Germany international Weidenfeller recently following a series of below-par performances from the 34-year-old. Speculation over whether Weidenfeller has a future with BVB only increased on Friday night when head coach Jurgen Klopp decided to drop his No.1 to the bench, with Austrian Mitch Langerak taking his place. Klopp's gamble paid off as Dortmund picked up a 1-0 win over Hoffenheim and Weidenfeller has said that he has come to terms with being replaced. Zorc has now come out to quash rumours regarding the shot stopper's long-term future, with Weidenfeller likely to reclaim his place for Tuesday's Champions League encounter with Anderlecht. He told Bild: "The coach has already explained it. It was a gut decision, not one for the rest of the season."
Read more at: https://www.clubcall.com/bundesliga/dortmund-rubbish-weidenfeller-rumours-1750379.htmlThe benefit to Klopp in playing Mitch against Hoffenheim was 2-fold. Firstly, to give Weidenfeller a kick up the backside. Secondly, to keep alive Mitch's hope that he is not doomed to forever be the bridesmaid at Dortmund. If Mitch and his manager have any sense they should have a clear idea of where they stand by the end of the season and what action, if any, they need to take. If the report below was credible then it should serve as a wake-up call given that his name is not even mentioned in discussions: Borussia Dortmund are frantically searching for a long-term successor to veteran keeper Roman Weidenfeller, Bild has revealed. Dortmund sit15th in the Bundesliga and their defensive woes have considerably failed them. Dortmund has conceded 17 goals while scoring only 12 this season in the Bundesliga.
The 34-year-old remains the number one goalkeeper at Signal-Iduna Park, but club executives are currently desperate in finding a replacement. Dortmund’s poor form may result in missing out on the Champions League next year. Dortmund are currently scurrying around the Bundesliga to find a suitable shotstopper.
According to Bild, Dortmund are consider Eintracht Frankfurt Kevin Trapp and Freiburg’s Roman Burki. They are the first names on club’s hit-list but are looking else where as well.
Swiss newspaper Blick understands that Dortmund have enquired about the availability of Roman Burki, who only joined his new club from Grasshoppers in the summer. With the 23-year-old’s release clause standing at mere €5 million, the Switzerland international appears to be their top target.
Meanwhile, Kevin Trapp has a contract until June 2016 with Frankfurt and they are potentially allowing him to leave for €4 million. Currently, everything suggests BVB are not will to spend big for Weidenfeller’s successor. Either Dortmund will go in the transfer market this January for defenders or find a new keeper.
One thing’s for sure — Weidenfeller is out.http://fullfifa.com/2014/11/14/dortmund-secretly-seeking-replacement-for-weidenfeller/Edited by dr. bellows: 9/12/2014 01:17:27 PM

Come on the doors begging at 34 years of age on any player. The fact Mitch is getting a bit of exposure should do good to get him a contract some where else if he doesn't get the first GK spot at Dortmund. You think the fact he is backup keeper on a top squad in the Bundesliga could get him a number 1 spot in some other lower team there

The simple fact that Dortmund are looking to buy a replacement (if true) is reason enough for Mitch to get the hell out of there.

Also, I think Brad Smith might've played in the U19's UEFA Youth League tie against Basel. Not sure though.
