Looks like we signed Eddie Bosnar... seeing though Paric did his ACL, we needed the cover.

It was the APIA 18s/20s.

First grade squad spent the weekend in Melbourne.

Sydney United 3-2 Melbourne Knights

The new Jap import really looks good, and Eddie Bosnar played as well

Heard Bosnar will be in and out, has business dealings in Croatia apparently.

Sutherland 0-1 BWE (Good game by both sides, fair few amount of trialists)

With the season 3 weeks away, any early predictions based on current squads?

i'll get the ball rolling,

1. Blacktown City
2. APIA
3. Rockdale
4. BWE
5. Olympic /or United

My dark horse this season would have to be Parramatta.

Not a Phase, Not a Trend, SYDNEY UNITED till the END!

That there seems about right, and pretty much agree. Throw Parra into the mix. They seem like a well drilled and structured side and play very low risk football.
Apia, not sure how they'll cope with the loss of Powell, if he doesn't return to them post A-League.
Olympic seem OK at full strength, but very light on in terms of depth.
Spartans could push for the lower top 5 spots. Wolves have picked up a couple of players as well and seem to be moving in the right direction.
Manly and Sutho are probably mid-table at best on paper.
I'm not expecting much from Hakoah at all unless they start spending.

Sydney United Squad: Bertolissio, Bosnar, Depta, Fragialos, Manos, Mileski, Nikas, Payne, Pom, Rizoski, Stavroulakis, Taleski, Triantis, A, Vlismas, K. Vlismas, Vrlic, Yui, Yuichi.

Melbourne Knights Squad: Andrijasevic, Batur, Cakarun, Cali, Colosimo, Cvitkovic, Dezic, Glavan, Grgic, Hicks, Jurcic, Jurkovic, Kataforis, Mikulic, O’Farrell, Purcell.

Interesting digressions to be made when comparing the two squads. Thoughts, 19-SU-58?

Yeah, it's a shame we've lost our identity, but at the same time, the resources and value central coast bring to us beyond makes up for it.

I coached against Northbridge for the past 3 years and will again this year and I've always been impressed with the way the club has played throughout all its age groups. No surprise that the CCM came knocking but to allow themselves to have their name changed sounds like they were willing to sell their soul. Not a fan of that.

Less Croatians than last year, if that's what you are getting at, although paric, bilic aren't in the above team list, so that's 4 or 5 in total, where as we normally have 9 or 10.

We did lose Tomic, Tomelic, Zuvela and Cindric this season.

anyone know who pom, rizoski are?
