We made that tougher than it shouldve been. Shouldve been at least 3-0 up. We missed an open goal 1 minute before Bonnyrigg went up the other end and got their penalty. They then got the upper hand and put us under a bit of pressure before an outrageous goal line clearance off a Nikas half volley.

Main thing is we held on for the 3 points. Manly away up next followed by Hakoah to round out the first half of the season.

Good 4-2 win over sutho sat night. shouldnt of let in their second just before full time but solid win nonetheless.
credit to sutho first 20 they had us under the pump before we clicked in.
looking forward to olympic this sunday at home. always a tough battle and by all reports they played ok against wolves with 10 men in second half.

Half of the team that played were carrying injuries so im not angry with that scoreline at all, tbh was expecting more.

1.Good result for Sydney Croatia 2-1
2.Payne was up front dangerous against Bonnyrigg back line.
3.Bonnyrigg goalkeeper James Chronopoulos too overweight and requiring legs to be massaged second half a sign carry too much weight.
4.Robbie Younis another player overweight second half struggling with his energy and stamina on the field ....

Come on, he's a fantastic keeper... but he's still overweight. That's probably the only thing that stopped him from getting any further than the NSWPL (assuming he had any interest in getting further).

As for Younis, he's always been overweight but it's never stopped him from scoring goals. The game changed in their favour once he came on, before that they'd barely threatened us.

some guys look like theyre carrying weight, but thats how they play. jimmy and robbie are two such players.
anyway, good win for your lads, they are keeping it up. manly will be a tricky assignment, theyre a decent side and paul dee has them coached well.

No doubt that it's just how they play... but it doesn't mean they're not carrying too much weight for a semi-pro footballer

I agree that it works for them and doesn't impact their performances week to week. But it's certainly limited them in how far they've progressed as footballers - not that either of them would care too much I'd imagine.

Yep, Manly away will be interesting. Hopefully the added motivation for Payne will result in him popping a few in. He's got 10 in 9 so far

Is that why the crowds have been so poor at Olympic the last few years - boycotting the event...lol. You clowns couldn't even get more than 300 people to your match against South Melbourne.

And speaking of Gypsies, where will next weeks match been played? 3 home grounds used already this year, the Olympic Gypsy wagon rolls on an on...

Just tell your officials to keep their hands to themselves, as touching minors at an away game is not only 1. not what they should be doing at an away game, but 2. illegal. But I guess trying to hook up with young boys is still considered all good over your way?

And tell your fans not to hold up racist banners and there'll be no trouble at all.

1. It's spelt 'gypsy'. If you were educated and had half a brain, you'd know this.
2. The definition of a gypsy is either a way of classifying the Romani people, or a traveller, kind of like how Sydney Olympic travel to different home grounds. Do you get what I mean? ;)

They're not though, are they?

Pretty sure the Bulldogs train there, and their Toyota Cup team (or whatever it's called now) play all their home games there. The Bulldogs' offices are there too.

Sydney Olympic get a pretty good deal out of the ground, but I don't think they're #1 tennants. :-k

great deal indeed. its your home ground that you sometimes cant use cause Dessie wants to organise a training run for the pups which is more important than an olympic game.
I don't call that a good deal. Bit rich too considering the dogs left belmore and then strolled back in.
