T-UNIT wrote:Wollongong 0-3 Rockdale great win by the boys. to go a man down in first half whilst scores locked at 0-0, to go on and win 3-0, shows the character of the side. i thought we were better team before the send off and then the boys were calm afterwards. big game this weekend against united. no doubt they will be smarting after conceding a late goal against sutho and they will be intent on winning at home. will be a tough game, they have been far and away the best team in the comp and with the likes of nikas and payne, two of the comps form players. Nikas with two bombs this week. What a season he is having! Nikas is the competition’s leading goal scorer with 12, followed by Chris Payne on 11, next closest is Pandurevic from Manly on 8. I wonder if HAL clubs are going to come knocking are raid our squad, I have heard Thomas Manos (our GK) is getting interest from HAL clubs already. Rockdale this weekend, going to be a tough and firery game, it always is.

Yeh the second one was amazing, seeing it live I thought it must have taken a deflection. Surely he will get another crack at the A-league next season.

We had same treatment, linesmen has 1 job totally blows it, jebiga. refs are a joke, seriously. the linesmen had no idea. blew 2 offsides against payne but missed another 10. another pen to united. not sure how much of a tug there was, nobody went to ground....... cant wait to see the third goal on the highlights....if they show it.....did seem to involve a player in an offside position. we got a pen too, that seemed soft and happened straight after theirs! canak should of got one but not given. not impressed. refs aside, cracking game considering the conditions. manos pulled off 3 brilliant stops second half. i dont know how we didnt get a point out of that game. payne is a handful.

Couldnt really tell from where i was standing and bad weather, as all the action was on the other side of the field, the highlights should be interesting. Regardless, we should of wrapped the game up in the second half, Mileski missed a golden chance.... Close game, but i think we edged in and deserved the 3 points

Actually having a look at the footage, i dont see anything wrong with United's three goals? 1. Payne's header hit Rockdale's defenders hand then went in. 2. Mileski was clearly brought down, shirt pulled, player should of seen red as he was last man, not yellow 3. Payne never touched the ball, but you could argue he may of interfered with the GK's vision / position. if anything, why did Rockdale get a penalty? very soft indeed.

if anything, why did Rockdale get a penalty? very soft indeed. 1. agree on payne's goal 2. disagree on mileski, as usual limited footgale but mileski is tugging on mclenehans jersey first. either way, definitely not a red card. 3. if he was offside, goal should not have stood, simple as that, hes right in front of the keeper. in saying so, it looks alike a defender was jogging off the line. hard to tell. re rockdale goal, saw macallister psot game, nice tear on his jersey hence the pen. nice how they didnt show the pen that should of been given to canak, clear as day. anyway, thats football. spartans this week for us.

There's a pic on the FNSW page with a great view of Mileski's arm being held and a leg going across yim. Looks like he's holding the Rockdale jersey too. Can see why that would be given though

Sydney United 5-1 Marconi Manly 2-1 Blacktown City AET Marconi are horrendous, overpaid A-league flops that are robbing that once former great club. We carved them up in the first half could of been more, then we put some young boys in the second.

Good to see Olympic won't be challenging for anything yet again. Fold the club. Surprised with Wollongong tbh. Need to get their shit together.

Parramatta 3-1 Sutherland. Luck lustre game from both sides with Parramatta deserving the 3 points the Sama brothers a stand out for Parra although can't see how they beat Blacktown last week. Our boys completely flat after 2 good results the previous 2 weeks, didn't help with our coaches negative substitutions. Bonnyrigg next week I think we will lift for that.

2-1 win for RCS last night over Spartans. to be fair to spartans, they played really well and deserved something out of the game. we wre egreat first 20 and then fell asleep. spartans tried everything and were unlucky. trifiro calling the shots, carle played well, sasaki lively as usual. anyway, after being unlucky to not have got something out of the united game, i will take that one. only 2 points behind blacktown now with a game in hand but as last night showed, this comp is very tough and anyone can win on their day.
wheres our olympic mate? whats with you guys benching your captain?
