Lions 95% gone. They have to have 2 perfect weeks to get back in it Granville or Balmain gone from PL3. Would throw Western or Stanmore in there but that would require Balmain's firsts to actually win a game. Not sure what their problem is as their 20's are having a respectable season

I reckon Lions will hang in but I don't know what their run home is like, same for Hawks but I expect they will survive. Remember Western won't be demoted right. We still have 6rounds to go after this weekend. Wow, we have 19 draws combined to date. Rage or Tiges roulette. Be pretty big if Rage do drop.

I'd love to see FNSW's excuse for Western if they did happen to drop. Not like they can expand again after last year. Might as well just make it official at this point

+xRydalmere 1 step closer to promotion Big performance from them last night in front of a big crowd. Fraser's grandstand was packed. Rydalmere were down to 10 men for about 40 minutes and still went on to win the game. They have some fantastic players - I personally think they have a better players than Fraser. Both 20's are similar and Rydalmere's 18's are better than Fraser's. Rydalmere should get promoted. Tony Basha and anyone else involved seem to have done a great job in recruiting players from the 18's to first grade.

Pretty much secures Hawks survival unless they implode & Granville & Balmain actually start to win games

Great result for Rydalmere. IMO the class 1st team overall but for their GA is no where as good as Fraser, shows scoring more is what counts ! If it wasn't us being in warm Bathurst haha many of us would have turned up to watch the game but most were keeping tabs via social media..... Really happy our 1sts gave Mariners a licking having just 7 regulars on board, great seeing young ones stepping up for all 3grades coming away with 2wins 1loss overall. Marconi now pretty much heading back to PL1. Bankstown City getting closer to PL3 for next season. Note - Spartans 5th in CC. Top weekend for football.

parra officially dead and going to npl 2. Marconi very close now to coming back up. lions in big trouble, 50 cc points off the berries, that's almost 2.5 rounds, and berries have one lower grade catch up fixture. beries will have to deal with their cup game in between league games but for me, sad but lions look gone. npl 3 is very very close despite Rydalmere's big win. fraser have a round in hand. they win that and its on. tigers looking likely to drop to state league. if mariners did finish last, I am hoping fnsw do the right thing and drop them as otherwise it makes a mockery of the whole system.
big games ahead this week in npl 1. all top 6 sides in action against each other. 1 v 3 blacktown v rockdale 2 v 4 apia v manly 5 v 6 united v Olympic ive said it before, the quality, eveness and drama of the npl in nsw is fantastic.

I heard there was a big crowd in the NPL3. It really is great to see the community slowly returning to the local football. I think there needs to be a bigger push though. It's very slow though. Also some big viewer numbers in the NPL1. Good signs for the future.

(thats if anyone has a lid on this) I obviously am around PL3 week in week out for a number of years and as some of us would, watch when you can times permitting other grades up or down. We to a few PL1 trial games and to late Sunday koffs now and then through the season, Cup games etc and imo PL1/2/3 is getting better and better. It maybe cold here or there but nothing like winter football. TSF, the PL3 Fraser/Rydalmere game held at Fraser Park (synthetic pitch) has a good size tiered covered grandstand - top of the table clash always brings them out but great for PL3 nonethless :) Branko must have been cursing, I was nearby him a number times the other week, he was bitching this and that, either of the ref or of an opposing players rubbish tackle on one of their own - hey his players did similar - like give it a break.

Big Branko. Doesn't even sit on the bench anymore lool my understanding was he wasn't on the bench as he was serving a suspension. decent crowd yes, all Rydalmere. theyre a passionate group, ambitious and good on em. frasers ground is a lovely ground, need to get those seats in but the field and stand are lovely. in terms of standard, I think theres a few npl3 terams who try to play football, mixed in with your more physical direct teams. in npl2 its the same. you've got teams who try to play, and theres the direct physical teams. the real change is in npl1 where most try to play good football. anyway, season not over yet, fraser win their catch up games against Balmain, and theyre 1 point behind on cc although with what I consider a tougher run home. anything is possible. whoever doesn't go up will surely be in the running the year after together with the association backed sides. Pretty fair summary Kolner. Agree, tbh every level has its physical more direct playing sides and the other portion are the ball playing ones. Overall both have lifted imo. Interesting when comparing some grounds for Rydalmere's sure isn't one I'd like to play on week in week out - sure gives them home advantage and those whos home pitch is synthetic must be half beaten mentally before koff lol....its friggin down hill, lumpy as imo its a shocker, the general club used pitch behind is better tbh. I still prefer a good grass pitch but no denying synthetic is so user friendly overall nowadays.

+x+x+x+x+xparra officially dead and going to npl 2. 1 v 3 blacktown v rockdale 2 v 4 apia v manly 5 v 6 united v Olympic ive said it before, the quality, eveness and drama of the npl in nsw is fantastic. kolner, I was going to mention in my earlier post what some others thought of PL stds of all 3 not just 1's ? (thats if anyone has a lid on this) I obviously am around PL3 week in week out for a number of years and as some of us would, watch when you can times permitting other grades up or down. We to a few PL1 trial games and to late Sunday koffs now and then through the season, Cup games etc and imo PL1/2/3 is getting better and better. It maybe cold here or there but nothing like winter football. That is correct. My mate coaches one of the youth teams there. He said they try & switch games to VSP bcos Rydalmere affects their style

damn right he wouldn't be happy - the pitch is a joke even for PL3 standards, why they haven't graded it level or filled it accordingly some years back typically doesn't make sense, money or the council and or waiting on funds for when it goes synthetic I expect. Doesn't surprise me he changing to VSP when possible.

FNSW compromised on women's league next year. Will be 2 tiers of 12 instead of 2 tiers of 10 as originally planned. Still means 2 teams gotta bite the bullet tho, Parra &....?
