+x+xmonty resigns with wolves great news Calling it now, He'll stab Krusty in the back next year & be firsts coach before the half-way point of the season Monty ain't that sort of person, plus he already has a role with the Mariners and is rumoured to be our next youth coach so wouldn't really be in his interest too.

haha you biatch NTNP. It was a entertaining GF to watch. Top day for it but why oh why every time we visit Leichardt we can't make use of the eastern side ?! Playing surface was good. Once both teams settled in it was end to end stuff, infact all of the game. I just wished goals were scored in normal time even extra for it got cold ! IMO both goal keepers were MOTM, some top saves made keeping their team in the game. APIA's skilful Sekiya taking the Manly backs on very well but IF he offloaded earlier countless times instead of looking to beat them again could have been another storey. Boths backs hardly slipped up have to say mind you. Ol Parisi once on gave APIA some flair with some good ball and surprisingly still showed some running in those ol legs lol.... Love watching Manly's Choc running at the defense, zippy, skilful but just lacked that extra to put one away or the nice assist. Young Pandurevic played well and was surprised he being subbed and he showed it as well not acknowledging Grieve or any of his fellow players at the bench. Macallister at times didn't get enough ball but always pressed well and was covered tight, one time made Necevski into a miraculous save. As I said both sets of backs played well. Manly overall looked the most fluent if I had to pick one. APIA young side plenty of potential. Ref was all over shop at times, some crazy rulings more so towards APIA for the Manly support behind me were giving it to 4th official Griffth-Jones as was Grieve. As always it was amusing. Got to say the shirt pulling and obvious climbing all over your opposite needs to be looked at more by the Ref association, its getting pretty pathetic. Overall a fitting GF imo - APIA will be bummed but Minor Prems after so long can't be that bad. Great GF win for Manly after 22yrs, been knocking on the door last few seasons good job by their staff and team. The crowd was 3,300 or abouts, I'd expect more but I know people will say its due to Manly.

Might I add, nice to have a minutes silence for Mike Cockerill prior to koff. Also to add to APIA's pain defeat in the 20's to the Sharks getting the double and SFC beating United in the 18's.

+x+xMatthew Licata has been appointed Fraser Park's first grade coach. Fraser gonna become the Dully boys club haha I'll be surprised if it all goes well. This was Matt's first year coaching senior football (18's Balmain and then moved to 18's Spirit) and he has been given the first grade gig because of his close relationship with Mil. I wish him all the best.. he has the potential.

+xRumour is Nick Olsen and Hayden Morton might be returning to us next season. Have heard the same about Olsen. Shame really, disappointing season for him overall. I was excited when we signed him and he showed moments of brilliance but they got rarer and rarer as the season went on. Not sure if it was a confidence issue or just a general trend with the whole side

Haven't heard about the SFC player, although good chance it's one of our ex players returning after being too old. Also heard we could be getting James Andrew back after his great season with Blacktown this year, glad he wants to come back after our coach last season didn't want him.

+x@tfl by bringing back Ivo de Jesus and Norman Tome? Norm is the SAP TD at St George and in his 40's. I've never seen Ivo play. We might have to get Fabio Ferreira back.
