yes and no. I'm hoping to make it. Not sure why at Bank West but thats FNSW. Finals at Leichardt recent years pull in a good crowd suited to its size so hoping this place attracts more spectators making the ground look fuller. Mind you this constant rain and going on still Saturday isn't going to help but the die hards turning up. Also I have a win win re this Finale but I feel closer to SU. Mother is Italian and Fathers blood being Triestino goes back to Cro - just want a top game but go SU.

what an up and down experience the past 3 weeks were. just came short in the final, which i believe were 2 goalkeeping errors. 5 games in 14 days took a toll on the boys, and FNSW need to take a good hard look at themselves, however still proud of our lads. 6k croats at the final, FNSW no need to thank us

Not much he could do about the ball going in from that chip which was a peach. On the whole I thought APIA didn't play well at all & Sydney United were lucky to be there. Wollongong would feel slighted at their season in amongst all of the Grand Final hoopla. First past the post ftw. In many ways that title belongs to Tony Raciti, he's the one who has put his life & money into that club & for him not to be there or to even be acknowledged was a shame. That's football politics for you.

That's football politics for you. Football politics? Isn't he just unwell? I've heard that as well, however the fact that he hasn't been mentioned at all anywhere in the past year or recently especially as it's their first NPL win a long long time ( at least years I think ) tells me something different. At the game they paid tribute to a team manager who passed away from cancer on a t shirt so if someone was unwell it would have been mentioned. Like I said, football politics.

+xMaybe he doesn't wish for any mention whilst he has been crook ? You don't have to mention that he may or may not be. But ANY mention would be appropriate, it's not as though details would have to be provided.

wonder what ground is going to be OK'd for Mariners. Heard something about Nth Sydney Oval on the weekend but they would need to address the cricket pitch area at huge costs whilst the season is on.

and went to the PL3 U20's and 1st's GF Saturday arvo. 20's was a very ordinary game going to ET - more so due to being 5th 6th made it through. 1st's well the Raiders oversee by Nick Carle has done it very well this season apart from making promotion to PL2 they knocked off Premiers Stanmore....... What I've observed having been around them our 2 rounds and the Finals Carle has done a great job making their supporters very welcome/out of his way saying hello and thanking them for turning up and I'm sure their squads love playing for him. Great networker by the look of it for starters and with his assistants and support from the club the momentum was for all to see.

Great networker by the look of it for starters and with his assistants and support from the club the momentum was for all to see. Being an ex player helps him recruit good players. It will be interesting to see how he goes in NPL2. There were some tactical things he needed to adjust during the season (and didn't) which is why Stanmore beat them both times in the regular season. It all came together in the GF but with promotion/relegation being based on first past the post from now on, he will be tested and won't be able to rely on the 18/20's results.

yep 1st's count for it all from here on......very much being a ex high profile player sure helps, look at Wolves as well. You probably picked up more than I being I couldn't be at those games - hey it his apprenticeship as you know hence observing his people management more than anything, at PL3 that helps and get away with it but 2 up not much even though its always nice playing for a "approachable and likeable" coach tactics rule from here on. PL2/3/4 are going to be very different from here on, it'll come down how much your spending + overseen by a good Coach.
