NSM will play at most 3 games at North Sydney.  The rest at Lambert Park in 2020.

Got to say the north and north west sure is lacking a decent ground with the expected seating requirements and all.
Got plenty more new synthetics grounds but bugger all seating and undercover.
Oi NSM fan, I wouldn't have boasted using NSO when in the end its only 3 games.
Brings me to say how can any Club feel at "home" when not using your own ground ?
I know NSM's ground is not suitable re spectator wise but when looking at PL2 right now.
For arguments sake say Nrthn Tigers or Spiritfc win PL2 2020.....or any int he future with non qualified grounds.
Tigers play Nth Turramurra Reserve if I recall right, no seating, Spirit at Christie - some seating but not enough easily increased.
Any others ?

I’m sure Northern Tigers were refused/didn’t accept promotion roughly 10 years ago due to their ground not being upto scratch. Not a perfect solution however isn’t there so nice rugby union fields in the north/northwest?

Pittwater Park or TG Millner sports ground look a better option than Lambert park

Sydney FC playing out of Rockdale next year. Something about wanting a ground with a covered grandstand for their fans.

yer hard breaking the barriers down using the dedicated Rugby fields north shore.
Another is surface quality of pitch.
Can't see them ever working with us/football using their pitchs.
One perfect one due to proximity for NSM is Chatswood Oval, Gordons ground spectators to 9k.
Its service isn't great for us once again.
Pittwater Park ? Warringahs ground another question mark.

Having grown up over here and played KDSA now known as NSFA I know all the grounds pretty much but playing in the GHFA comp last number of years.
Many new syns have gone down recent years but none look to include a % of under cover seating and not.
This should be a standard full stop but I expect where's the money coming from to cover this for starters.
NSM original oval was a goat track, if it wasn't for early smart board/committee members working on dollar support incl council I expect syn would never have gone down there, I get it but its spectator facilities is ridiculous - pity it wasn't considered to invest somewhere else so as seating could have been looked into at the time.

Yeah I’m sure all avenues were explored, just seems an odd choice to play out of Lambert when there may be suitable grounds closer to the “North Shore”, even Cromer Park would be a better choice.

To be fair to North Shore Mariners, their climb from an Association club to NPL1 has been quite quick and their facilities haven’t kept up with their climb up the footballing pyramid.

Which is why I'd say play it at Sutho's home ground.  Closer to Sydney FC's fanbase.  

Lambert was pretty close to their fan base. Their npl crowds consist of the players parents and maybe a couple mates. I don’t think Sydney FC is too concerned about their NPL crowds.

Syd FC want their own ground. They tried to get APIA off Lambert and it didn't work.  Now onto the next target.  

They don’t want a ground, they want a hub, as per the wanderers and other a-league clubs. I believe they’re in the process of securing something, no idea where, the sticking point is they don’t really want to pay for construction, just a low cost rental for a boutique npl stadium, offices, gym, training fields. Hard part is finding a council to pay millions to build it for little to no return. Then again, the NRL clubs get the state government to fund that stuff, no reason why A-League clubs shouldn’t be afforded the same courtesy.

Looks like they're renovating that & removing the grandstands, turning it into a more boutique facility for small scale stuff.  

Mmmm, very good its being vamped up and quoting Inter Lions and West Harbour Rugby clubs for use and likely West Tigers nrl to use it for state of the art training.

I know the same Mayor approved new synthetic complex being built at Canada Bay where Inter Lions Mens will play.
