Definitely 1.5 (I've seen the draft from FNSW). 2nd place in the tier below and 2nd last in the tier above play in a play off.

Not sure what NPL Victoria is but NSW will be 1.5 spots up/down. The only problem with the draft is when this playoff would be played. No indication of whether it was before or after finals.

I heard the 1.5 pro/rel too, should add a bit more excitement in certain game. Personally I cant pick who may struggle going off pre season results, could be quite close down the bottom of the table.

less than two weeks till the season starts, and there is fuck all promotion from FNSW... they are seriously for the tip.

why do clubs pay them $70k + a year in fees, application etc, and in return we cant get decent marketing for the game.

The draw just came out yesterday didn't it?  That's pathetic. 

We keep going on the downwards spiral due to our governance.
Where is the communication ?
The amount of effort put in by clubs/players/parents etcetc deserves so much more so just a little bit of PR would be a start eh.
Clubs/players have been doing pre season since Octoberish.

If I stopped to think what I myself has invested over my playing years and to date incl summer comps, 3 kids playing since they are eligible to play, SAP/YL and the mug I must be to these people willing to put some sponsership funds 2  2clubs I'm involved with the last 5odd yrs, being in my own business I'd be sacking all these mugs lack of input/performance !
and they got to gall to run the roost.

the problem is us, we complain but yet cannot leak information about their ways, its impossible to get any intel on the administrators, the stakeholders like us suffer cause we love the game, so if you have any intel no matter what, start sharing it publicly

yes a good POV and not new, wondering who you really are.......
You know what, IMO its FNSW to reach out amongst their Associations under them and stakeholders, we pay for them.
You got to get yourself amongst the cold face and ask questions and observe, all levels not just amongst the top end.
Talk to parents at Trials how its going and how they feel, talk to players young and old, ask about costs, how coaching stds are, do they feel they get bang for the bucks, is the club they are with to your expectations etcetcetc
Then you have a grasp on the big picture as a Boss/CEO or any of his/their management group, there is enough of them to spread around.........starts from the fishs head.

Overall PL1 is looking to be veryvery competitive as always.
The recruiting been huge for a couple.
PL2 for my own interest will also be similar, hotly contested.
I'll be keeping an eye on all grades.

Who’s favourites in NPL2? Bonnyrigg, Mounties, Northern Tigers surely.

I don't know how recruiting has gone on enough to date.
2019 finish excl NSM promoted 11points separated 2nd to 6th, Spartans another 4 behind in 7th.
Typical suspects should be Hills/BWE/Mounties.
Surprised Spirit finished ahead of Tigers.
Tigers start strong, like many I guess but injuries ruin their run later in the season for I expected them to nearly make promotion some years.
Will be curious how coach Carle handles the promotion.
1st past the post changing everything now as we all know.

SD raider should hold their weight, Will be interesting to see a few weeks in, might see more coaching and players come and go with more on the line in first grade.

BWE had a great run in the second half of the season after a poor start. Reckon they’ll give it a nudge if they love up to their name. 
Otherwise Hills got promoted from NPL3 to NPL2 the year after north shore did so could be an omen for them. 

Also guys, I honestly am astounded that it begins this weekend and most fans won’t know that pro - rel is 1.5 this year from NPL1 - 4.

That is a massive announcement and most fans wouldn’t know as its deep in the competition regulations for 2020. Have not seen it announced publicly anywhere.

Exactly. Even some of the most staunch fans don’t know so not sure why football nsw have even brought it in then.

Like we said what great comminications by FNSW to all lol.....

It hasn't been annouced as all 12 NPL1 clubs have voted against it and said they won't participate in any playoff. Talks ongoing.

Well they can stay up if they come second last and win the relegation playoff. 
But how on earth do FNSW have to beckon to the demands of npl1 clubs who of course are going to vote no if it means their top flight status is put in danger. 

Considering out of all of you my teams most at risk after fighting so hard to get up there I’d be most likely against but I actually like the idea.

I'm always on the edge watching my beloved EPL/Championship promotion relegation season ending which is as many would know 3 down 3 up.
Same goes keeping my eye on all our PL scenarios.
I know its tuff and terrible those going down and at the other scale what Highs for the promoted ones.
Great rotation imo for both comps re over there - forgetting all the $ incomes/outcomes its a whole different storey here.

Agreed, without our 18’s and 20’s we would’ve been more at risk over the years of relegation however I think it will spice up all comps.
